Fallen opened her eyes, she was once again in the Dark Forest. She had killed a fox cub and let the blood spill out onto the earth. Then she had lapped up the warm blood and lay down to sleep upon her sacrafice and fell into the deep sleep that brought her to the dark forest. To the lands of the demons. A cold wind stirred her fur as she waited, her red eyes glowing in the darkness. She knew the creatures of this forest would visit her. Not only the cats who died and went here, but the masters of this shadow land. She scented the air, the scents of cats long forgotten came to her nose.
Tigerstar, Hawkfrost, Hollyleaf, Darkstripe, Clawface, Bone.... However tonight a new scent came to her nose. Somehow, in her heart of hearts she knew who it was. A cat who was not long dead. A cat she remembered whispered legends of... Nightstalker.

Nightstalker betrayed his invisibility in the shadows, confronting Fallen with a sharp look in his eye. There she was. The cat he was looking for. Most of the rogues either were unloyal, or too busy to take on this role. But this particular cat seemed perfect for it.

Nightstalker was limited on how much he could see and train what kits he had left that wanted to join him in his dark parade. So he decided to have a daytime mentor for one of the kits he knew was on his side. And he wanted to wait to see who else was on his side before assigning anyone else.

"So you've come." Nightstalker greeted her, sitting a tail-length in front of her and wrapping his tail gently over his paws. "I have a favor to ask of you..."</sup>

"A favour." she purred. "What's in it for me?" She asked, before comitting. Her tail curled up around her paws and her red eyes glittered. She watched carefully. Sizing up the tom.

Nightstalker flicked his ear. "I plan of a future without those pesky Clans. Those Clans are nothing but soft-hearted fools. Nightpaw, my son, is in need of training due to limited visits. I need you to train him to fight, while I teach him to use his powers."

Nightstalker looked at Fallen more seriously, continuing. "This kit, along with some of my other children, will take on the challenge I've set for them. With careful planning, they will all be the leftovers of the Clans. They will form together and take over, and if you help me, you can be their leader."

Relaxing in a less serious stance he licked his jaws. "Are you in?"</sup>

There is still the chance of them overthrowing me." She mewed. "Give me immorality and I will fufill the duty that you are giving me." She inclined her head. Not knowing the price immortality would come at.

Nightstalker stood his ground for a moment, his gaze frozen on the dark figure before him. Immortality? He was taking a big risk here. What if she uses this power for the wrong reasons? What if she kills his kin? Or worse? But, he had no one else to go to.

"Fine." Nightstalker agreed with uncertainty, but ignored it. The spirit stepped forward, his nose lightly pressed up to her own. He knew pain would be the price in their brief contact, her power creeping into her soul and soaking into its energy.

Once completed, he stepped back, his gaze rested on her once more. "From now on, you will be known as Starsbane. Now go and suffice your duty."</sup>
