Cause of a broken family

Nightscar slowly padded through the marshlands with a small limp, his memory reminding him this is where he had found Mysterypaw. He slowly looked around, but went slowly waiting for the smaller she-cat to catch up. He looked back at her and smiled slightly.
'I can't believe I'm a mentor.' he turned his focus to the stars. 'I wonder how Gingerflight's doing. Maybe she has an apprentice by now.'
He tore his thoughts away as his leg started throbbing. He couldn't stay out for long. Maybe Cinderheart was right...okay he was always right. He just wanted to show Mysterypaw something.
"You doing okay back there?" he called back and slightly flicked his tail waiting on her.[/center]

Mysterypaw nodded and kept up with him. "What we gonna do Nightscar?" She mewed, her ears pricked up happily. "Huh?"
"What we gonna do?" She ran beside him as she purred.

Nigtscar kept padding along and flicked his ears toward the she-cat as she asked what they were doing. "We're going to forget the past." he said simply, slowly leading her back to where he had found her. The only part that he was worried about was....well, he had to cross into the thunderclan territory for a minute or two. He had to do this with his apprentice. He just had too.[/center]
