( I haven't role-played Sorrelstrike as a warrior yet so if anyone wants to join they can ^_^ )
Sorrelstrike
I'm a survivor, and I'll stay that way
Sorrelstrike proudly walked out of the warriors den, settling herself in a warm spot of sunshine to lick the unwanted scrapes of leaves or moss in her fur. She felt as if she was the most powerful cat in the Clan. She still couldn't get over the feeling of finally being a warrior and not being bossed around as much.
Not only that, but she succeeded the rank that none of her siblings had reached. Now all she had left to do is survive until she is an elder. And, even though she regretted having his as her goal, but to raise a family. Even though she wasn't looking forward to being a queen. But someone had to keep Thymeleaf's family tree going, right?
And, of course, someone had to carry out the new generation. And she wanted someone to have her blood in the new generation. Hopefully her fate in kits won't be as unfortunate as Thymeleaf's. But she didn't have to worry about mates and kits now. She still had a long life ahead of her. She wanted to live the warrior rank longer. Enjoy it. Preserve it. Savor it.
After careful licks thoroughly cleaning her tortoiseshell pelt, she decided to hunt. A duty commonly preformed by warriors. Instead of stupid training. She could gather up a patrol. Yes. That sounds nice. Or she could go hunting alone. Which was forbidden in apprentice territory. But now she could. Yes. Anytime she wanted.
But, a patrol suited her mind best at the moment. But with who? How did cats decide who they were going to patrol with if not assigned one? Do they just force random cats? She sure didn't know. So, only one idea came to her mind.
Taking in a gulp of air she yowled out, "Anyone want to go on a hunting patrol?"[/sup]
