Heatherflower fumbled around in her den. What happened to all of my cob webs! And what happened to my juniper? The medicine cat had been so caught up in the excitment of the battle and getting an apprentice, she hadn't noticed her lack of the two important things.

Fighting the storm inside

The white tom, who had been cleaning himself in his small den, quickly lifted his head hearing his mentor Heatherflower. He slowly got up stretching his stiff muscles and slipped out of the small crevice of his den. He padded over to the herbs and could immediately tell they were low on juniper. The scent was weaker than the other. He was surprised Heatherflower hadn't noticed.
"You need me to go get some more juniper?" he asked sniffing at the spot where the herb had been.
Again, his instincts for the herbs kicked in and he immediately knew that scent. He didn't have to worry about calling it wrong, but he really didn't know what it was used for. He wasn't sure how he knew everything, but he just did.[/center][/size]

Heatherflower gave a sigh of relief. "That will be great. If I remember right, there's a nice big patch over by RiverClan territory. Take another warrior with you. After the battle at the gathering, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't suspicious of the other clans planning an attack."

The little calico turned back to the piles of herbs. "I'll be taking Shadowtalon and getting some cob webs, so I expect I'll be back before you."

Cloudpaw nodded at his mentors request and thought about which warrior to take with him. He didn't want to take a fairly new one, especially if riverclan was feeling a little uptight about things. He slowly padded out of the den and heard the gently rumble of someone in the warriors den. He slowly started that way hoping to find someone to go with him.
