Another day [Suneyes & Tigerheart]

A small dull light made its way into the warriors den right into the eyes of a ginger tom. With a silent moan the tom blinked open his eyes and glared toward where the light was shining. The ginger tom slowly blinking the sleep away from his eyes before realizing that he was suppose to go on patrol with the new deputy Suneyes.

Jumping to his paws he looked around the den at the other warriors that were still asleep. Sighing silently, he made his way for the entrance of the dark den avoiding the sleeping warriors around him.

He stepped out of the den into the now empty clearing, but soon he this clearing would be filled with warriors, apprentices, and occasionally elders. He glanced at the fresh kill pile deciding if he should grab a bite to eat, but he shook his head. He didn’t need any food at the moment, he felt filled with food even though he hadn’t eaten since the beginning of the brutal battle.

He continued padding toward the tunnel that lead out to the moor lands. He silently sat down and waited for the appearance of the new deputy the show up.</sup>

SUNEYES
Shining like the sun.

A small tabby queen laid curled beside her mate. A warm breeze rustled her fur as the light from the sun burst into the den. The she-cat stirred, her ears twitched and her eyes slowly opened up, heavy under the weight of sleep. The new deputy, Suneyes, had awakened.
The warrior raised up her head as memories of the night returned to her. The prophecy, Rainflight, Mothpaw, and small Snowkit. The battle. It all came back to her as she lifted herself up, limbs stiff from the battle.
Then the rest came back to her. Stormsong retiring, Hazelstar's annoucement. Her deputyship. It took a moment or too for Suneyes to react to the thought. She was deputy, and she had a patrol to go on.
Quickly the tabby raised herself up the rest of the way and padded out of the den, careful not to step on any of the other warriors. A few were stirring also.
Suneyes excited the den, her eyes landed on the form of Tigerheart. He was already up. She hoped he hadn't been waiting long. Trotting over to him, she meowed "Sorry I'm late, I didn't realize the time. Ready to go?"

Tigerheart shifted his ears toward the voice of the tabby she-cat, he didn’t hear her coming until she was right there. He smiled and dipped his head in greetings,
“You finally decided to show up, huh?” He meowed teasingly to the tabby she-cat.

He stood up and nodded,
“I was born ready.” He meowed flicking his tail for the deputy to take the lead. Turned back toward the clearing wondering if he should bring his apprentice Eaglepaw with them, but something told him that the apprentice was tired from the battle and was in a deep sleep. Shrugging the though off he turned his attention back to the entrance and waited for Suneyes to say were they would be going.</sup>

Suneyes took a minute to streatch. At Tigerheart's reply she gave him a little shoved "Haha, I'm dieing from laughter." she joked as she started toward the entrance and heading out.
