Wandering in the Rain

Amberpaw sat at the edge of the den watching he rain. It's hard to see across the camp so it might work.

She wanted some time alone. Being cooped up in camp was a living nightmare. Everyone told her she would catch her death if she went out.

What a laugh.

She slipped out of the den and out of camp. Rain was a bit lighter in the forest, thanks to the trees. She wandered around in the rain listening to the sounds.

She caught a scent. Mouse. The small creature scuttled around in search for food. She moved quietly and pounced. She held her catch gently.

No one will now if you eat it now. I'm not aloud out of camp so if I bring it back they will know. So I have to eat it here.

Amberpaw eat the mouse in two bites. Licking her lips she wandered around before finding a tree to curl up under.
