A Wounded Storm (Loud, Ginger, Saber and whoever)

LOUDSTORM
A storm so loud.

Loudstorm, with the help of Saberpaw, made it back into the camp. His leg burning with the pain of walking. As soon as he made it into the camp, he collasped into a heap. "Someone likes to pick on me." he meowed with just a little of a joking tone.

Gingerflight stuck her head into swirlleaf's den. "Swirlleaf?" she asked looking around. "Loudstorm opened his shoulder wound again. He needs something for it." she said. She waited silently letting the herbs fill her nose.

Saberpaw

Saberpaw nodded. "So it seems." he said, his voice calm and deadpan. "Don't worry Gingerflight's gone to get Swirlleaf. She will have you patched up in no time. Just rest for now Loudstorm. You should have never been sent out on that hunting patrol."

Loudstorm grunted. "Now your acting like you're the mentor and I'm the apprentice." The tome didn't like the fact that his apprentice was treating him that way added with the fact that he was in the middle of the camp with a bleeding leg with Clan cats looking at him with concern. No, his pride wouldn't allow it. "Help me to the warriors den." he told Saberpaw, and trying to stand up he saw the form of Swirl-leaf approaching.

{{Since Zoe hasn't been on in a while and I'm not sure that she will get on soon to role-play Swirl-leaf to patch up Loudy, we can just pretend she did.}}

Later that day he was sitting in the shade beside the warriors den. Tight patches and a stinging glob of herbs had been applied to his wound. Swirl-leaf had done a good job, but still she said that if he didn't keep off of it and didn't do his duties as a warrior, he could have a permanant limp.

This is great, just great. he thought as he turned to look at his leg. No matter what Swirl-leaf said, he couldn't stay off of it, it was just his nature to be moving about. Much like his daughter Ravenkit's. The black tom started to get up to grab some fresh-kill.

Gingerflight saw Loudstorm start to get up and padded over and gently pushed him back down. "I don't want to sit on you loudstorm, but if i have to i will." she said firmly, but had a slight teasing voice to her tone.
"you know Swirlleaf told you to stay put." she said, softly. She knew th tom didn't want to be stuck just laying around, but that's what his leg needed. and with a limp, he would be put into the elders den too soon. She defiantly didn't want to see that.

Loudstorm grunted as Gingerflight put him back down. "I'm fine, I'm just getting some food." he replied with a slight angry hint to his voice. "It's not but a few tail lengths away." he meowed as he started to try and stand again against his protesting leg.

"you stubborn tom. Sit." she said batting him hard on his good side. "your going to make it worse. Trust me." she almost growled at him. She knew he was older but this was getting out of hand! Did loudstorm want to be unable to protect his clan? She let out sigh.
"Loudstorm...please? Just sit here. I'll get something for you." she insisted.

Loudstorm sat. She-cats, treat every cat like kits they do. he complained but did not voice it. The black tom sat down. "Okay, fine." he gritted out. She was right though, he hated to admit it."

Gingerlfight padded voer to the fresh kill pile and found a rather large mouse. She picked it up adn brought it over. "There you go. That sould filly ou up." she said licking the taste off her mouth. She hadn't eaten in a while but she was about to go hunting with saberpaw.

Loudstorm nodded his thanks to Gingerflight. The burning sensation in his shoulder was gone for now, but when he got up to go into the warriors den he would be up a little longer waiting for it to leave. "Thank you Gingerflight." he meowed, pulling the mouse near him. "Aren't you going to eat?"

"Probably after i take Saberpaw back out." she replied runnign a paw over her ear cleaning it. She quickly groomed herself before looking around for the apprentice. "Where did he run off to?" she muttered.
