<sup>Thornpaw padded stiffly out of the camp's shelter and into the raining mess, the rain pelting down on his black fur making him feel like he was drowning in water.

Realizing his pace was fastening, he slowed down, catching up to his mentor. "This weather just came at the exactly wrong timing. I won't even be able to know what a rabbit smells like in this mess." Thornpaw growled, snorting.</sup>

<sup>Frostbite kept his pace steady as his apprentice caught up to him. He looked down at the young black tom and nodded,
“That is why you are training.” He meowed scenting the air.
“We are close to Thunderclan. You see that small patch of trees up ahead?” He asked pointing his long, damp silver tail in front of his face.
