What a Fun Time {Suneyes}

<sup>Suneyes had had a long day. It had only been a few days since she had returned to her warrior duties and she was still getting use to all the work.

Being a queen sure does get you out of shape. she thought as she curled up in her nest, Shadowtalon's empty one beside her. The queen was retiring to sleep early because the storm had mad her irritable and it would do the Clan a favor if she did.

Closing her eyes, it wasn't soon before Suneyes was asleep. The tabby was dreaming. She was out in the moor and a large storm was wreaking havoc. The queen was startled at the intensity of the storm, but what was really strange was unlike other dreams she had of storm, she couldn't feel anything around her and it was colder then the harshest leaf-bare.

The queen didn't know what to do, she was frozen to the ground as she watched the storm tear up the ground she had grown use to calling her home.

<sup>Moments went by as the destruction grew and grew, until suddenly everything went black.

Silence...darkness...was all that met Suneyes. It was like the former queen went both blind and deaf. What gave life to the sudden darkness was stars...yes, stars. They swarmed in front of her, then formed a shape of a cat.

Then a cat appeared in the stars, a slim black she-cat with a starry blue gaze. Looking in her eyes feels like your looking at StarClan themselves. The she-cat stared at Suneyes warmly, flicking her tail in greeting.

"I am Nightwhisper." the StarClan cat meowed, "Suneyes is what you are called?"</sup>

<sup>Suneyes was startled when everything went black. She couldn't see nor hear. But then the darkness was broken and stars in front of her formed a cat.

Her jaw was open with surprise. Is this a StarClan cat? the queen thought as she nodded to answer the she-cats question. Suneyes had to admit she didn't have as strong a faith in StarClan as other warriors do since she had been a loner, but this. This had to be a StarClan cat since she had come from stars like Suneyes had been told StarClan cats do.

"I am Suneyes."

<sup>"Then your new destiny isn't far away..." Nightwhisper rasped, already starting to fade away into the darkness. Before she completely disappeared, icy words pierced the air.

"Darkness will cover this land and beyond,
Neverending storms will erupt and darken the skys above,
You and your kin will follow the darkening path,
To save what you know from a terrible past
That will lead your home into the bloody jaws of death,
And the murder of the deadly outcasts."

Hints of Nightwhisper ever existing seemed to disappear with her ghostly body as the faint starlight was replaced by darkness once more. But it wasn't like that for long. The darkness melted away into the stormy scene again. But Suneyes wasn't alone this time...

A dark gray cat leaped onto her, sheathing her claws into Suneyes's shoulders. The large cat's icy blue eyes glared at Suneyes coldly, spatting. "Get ready for you and your precious Clan to die, kitty kitty..."

Claws slashed at Suneyes's eyes, her sight becoming of only crimson blood. Yowls echoed in her ears, begging for help, only to be cut off by the sound of their bones breaking. "StarClan won't save you this time, little kitty cat..." the same voice rasped in a greedy thirst for blood. Then everything went black again....</sup>

<sup>Suneyes didn't know how to react as the cat started to disapear and a chilling message tickled her ears.

She had so many questions, but before she could call back the cat she was gone and Suneyes was soon back in the storm. But she wasn't alone for long before a gray cat jumped on her.

In self defence Suneyes started clawing at the underbelly of the cat. It wasn't long before everything was black and Suneyes was awake.

<sup>Suneyes jumped awake as the dream ended. The cold message drifted into her mind and would not leave. The golden brown tabby stood up shaking slightly as she started for the fresh-kill pile. Maybe some food would calm her down.

But just looking at the mouse she had grabbed made her stomach twist into even larger knots. Pushing the mouse away, Suneyes looked up at the sky. And was surprised at what she saw.

A face of another cat dominated the sky. The dark clouds of rain that made the face reminded the queen of a cat she had seen at a gathering. But she just couldn't place the name.

Sitting there and looking at it, Suneyes started thinking. Raven...no...Black.....River....Rain....Rainflight? Yes Rainflight! That is it! Now knowing that the face in the sky was a cat she had seen. Suneyes started to think that maybe it was a sign from StarClan, a sign that went with the prophecy. She was determined to go to the gathering and hoped that Rainflight would be there.

{So sorry for being last-minute and all. I was hoping to get it up yesterday but then my parents dragged me to something I had no idea was going on and it was late when we got back.}</sup>
