This has made ECIJA's commitment to certification and the creation of labor compliance models clear. Recently, the firm organized an event to explain to its client companies the need to have these labor compliance programs and to be able to certify their validity from the UNE Sociolaboral Compliance 19604 standard. At this event, partner Raúl Rojas and Alvaro Rodríguez de la Calle himself , recently incorporated into this practice, accompanied by substitute judge Concepción Esther, and Mayrata Conesa, AENOR technician, explained in detail the advantages of having these compliance programs.
At that meeting, the speakers pointed out that the main areas that labor compliance programs must cover are: working conditions both in national and international territory; equality and non-discrimination; new information and communication technologies Fax Lists (ICT) in the work environment; protection of personal data and intellectual property; prevention of crimes in the workplace (Corporate Labor Compliance); prevention of occupational risks, safety and health at work, or actions regarding corporate social responsibility, among others.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, lawyer Rodríguez de la Calle now joins as a partner of the firm. With this signing, the firm chaired by Hugo Écija will strengthen the firm's labor law practice, which currently has a team of eleven partners and more than thirty professionals throughout the country in its Labor area.
Rodríguez de la Calle has a degree in Law and Political and Administration Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a speaker at seminars on labor matters. In the professional field he was Inspector of Labor and Social Security between August 2008 and September 2013, specifically in the territorial directorate-provincial inspection of Labor and Social Security of Madrid. During his time in the Public Administration he directed actions on the compliance of companies in legal-social matters.
It should be remembered that Rodríguez de la Calle was also in charge in a complicated year, such as Covid-19 in 2020, in the General Directorate of Labor of the Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work of the Community of Madrid, where he served until June of the same year. During this period he assumed the management of labor administrative procedures during the social and health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, specifically regarding the Temporary Employment Regulation File (ERTE).
