where am i?

i've been running around all over the place making characters and being a weirdo and it occurred to me that i haven't even introduced myself. so, i am lost! i've been roleplaying for a very, very long time and over the course of the years have gone through several alias', some of which being whitey, thistle, nettle, and most often: lost. i've been roleplaying for about seven years now, i started with humans before moving into warriors and canine role-plays. nowadays i mostly stick to warriors and the odd time switch over to canines if i'm feeling adventurous. i like to play some pretty extreme, eccentric, and jerk-ish characters, so please don't think they are a reflection of who i am! whilst, admittedly, i can be a little out there, i just want to be friends with everyone. <3

i am currently twenty years young and living in the winter wonderland that i call canada. i absolutely hate the cold and wish everyday i could have been born somewhere warm and tropical, haha. luckily, i'm in a long distance relationship with a boy from tennessee, so at least i have an excuse to escape the horrible weather every so often. :) we've been together for about a year and a half now, though i met him in person for the first time in may. it was everything i had hoped to be and more. i recently went back there to visit him again about two weeks ago and we hope to fly him up here sometime in august or december (preferably the former).

aside from that, i am will be starting my second year of university. i currently major in psychology and minor in anthropology. i tend to flip-flop about sticking to my major or not, but for the time being i am settled as is. i have a border collie x shepherd cross named sadie that is my baby and my life. i love her to death and i like spaghetti.

well that introduction went downhill fast.

Welcome Lost! :3 Kudos on maintaining long distance! My ex and I were long distance. Fortunately he was only about four hours drive away and we saw each other about once a month, but even that was hard. Canada and Tennessee -- that's no small distance! Hope you can get through and will see him again soon. LDRs are hard but can be worth it with patience. Thank goodness for Skype, am I right?

Interesting choice in psych/anthropology. I took two psych classes in college (gen ed and child psych) and loved them. Also had the opportunity to sit in on one of my boyfriend's anthropology classes during our senior year, fascinating subject. Must be a fun major/minor combo!

Also would love to see pictures of Sadie! She sounds so sweet. :3

aw, i'm sorry to hear about you and your ex! long distance is definitely a struggle - it's probably one of the hardest things i've had to do. i'm convinced that if this doesn't work out, i'll never ever do an ldr again. granted, i didn't intent to in the first place, it kind of just happened, haha. i greatly envy normal relationships. it's absolutely incredible when we can be together, but it's real brutal when we're apart. oh well, what can you do, right! skype has definitely been a life saver. we communicate all day, everyday, but it's very nice to be able to actually hear and see the person too. i find it's a little more intimate and humanizing than just text, y'know?

and psych/anthro is definitely interesting! i enjoy it a lot! now the trick is figuring out what i want to do with it after, haha. :P

also, here is my baby. <3 she's crazy, but an absolute sweetheart. i could gush about her all day, given the chance - which is weird, because she's a dog but y'know. she goes just about everywhere with me and i love her mucho.
