Yellowpaw padded out of the apprentice den. It was a quiet day, like it usually was at this time in the morning. She wanted to get up early to start training but the young new apprentice had no idea if her mentor Whiteclaw has said they were training today. It was more like that Yellowpaw knew that she was going to be training today but could not remember what time the warrior had told her. She just flattened her ears and that thought. It was totally unlike the tabby she-cat to forget what time she started training. So thats why when she woke up the morning she kind of had a slight panic attack. But even so the she-cat made herself presentable before emerging from the apprentice den all together. Thats when Yellowpaw's jaw parted wide, breathing in deep the apprentice let out a huge yawn before her jaw snapped shut. There was teirdness in her eyes, anyone could tell that the tabby she-cat was not a morning cat. But she knew that if Whiteclaw wanted her to train at this time she would be there.
Her green gaze scanning around camp she looked for the black form of her mentor. When she was first told that Whiteclaw was going to be her mentor Yellowpaw was surprised to see that the warrior was pretty much all black. But then thats when she noticed that they had a white paw. Then it made a bit more sense on why they received that name. Yellowpaw guessed it was kind of the same as her. Her pelt was not exactly yellow after all. It was a warn brown with darker brown tabby stripes, plus a cream underbelly. The apprentice padded away from entrance of the apprentice den still aware of her surroundings. She then looked at the fresh kill pile, she wanted something to eat but she knew better than that. Maybe she could find her mentor or someone else to go hunting with. But she knew that she should find her mentor first before doing anything. She just sighed, the young she-cat had no idea where Whiteclaw was. She also didn't want to leave camp to look for her mentor or look in the warriors den.
I guess I'll just have to wait out here.
She thought instantly. So thats what she did. Finding a place near the apprentice den to sit down Yellowpaw lowered herself to her haunches. She then flicked her plume tail and covered her front paws easily. She then just sat and waited her light green gaze watching for her mentor or any one else she could talk to.
