A cool breeze tugged at Jaggedpaw's fur as he trekked up the moor, carefully trying to meander around the rabbit warrens that were scattered around the site. He wasn't so familiar with the clans territory yet, after all he had only just became an apprentice; a few days ago he had his apprentice ceremony, Whiteheart, his new mentor was going to start his training today. Jaggedpaw was fairly hasty to get started, in fact he was too hasty; he entered the warriors den and woke Whiteheart up because he was so eager. The muscular tom didn't take the early morning too well and told Jaggedpaw to wait until he woke up, so here he was waiting for his mentor to arrive.
He sighed and decided that this was a good time to recollect his thoughts, after all Whiteheart would take a while to arrive. What did he know about Whiteheart? he hadn't heard much from this warrior at all, although he seemed to be a friendly loyal warrior. Whiteheart had lost much though, Jaggedpaw could recall his mother telling him that the tom had suffered from several deaths; first was his sisters and then his mate and friends. He found it peculiar how this cat didn't turn cold and cynical through everything, he seemed like a friendly loyal warrior, and this irritated Jaggedpaw to no end. He knew nothing about how Whiteheart's mind works, so he couldn't possibly understand the reasons behind it.
The little cat sighed and perched himself on a rock, watching as the sun rose over the treetops in the distance. For a while he just cleared his mind and watched. It was relaxing to be away from the clan for once; perhaps he would make this a common spot for him to think. As he salvaged the quietude, he soon dosed off into a deep sleep.
