Glazepaw
pictures; x
Age: 7 moons.
Gender: Female.
Rank: Apprentice.
Clan: ThunderClan
Short Description: White she-cat with a right green eye and left blue one.
Appearance:
An exact copy of Icepaw, of perhaps Icepaw is an exact copy of her? The only actual difference between them is the mismatched eyes. Glazepaw’s, contrary to her sister’s color set, has a right green eye and a left blue one. This is the only notorious difference between the two (if you don’t count the little scar in Icepaw’s ankle that is, but it’s not exactly notorious so we’ll rule that out). With nimble bodies that promise great and agile warriors, their steps are light and well coordinated, it is a rare almost nonexistence occurrence when they trip or fall, in fact no one has ever seen them fall ungracefully. Their fur is as white as the first snow of the season, its immaculate, not a spot and not an imperfection; not too long and not too short, simply perfect. They know they’re pretty, confidence radiates in their steps, a deep hypnotizing confidence that reflects in their eyes, their coordination, and how they smile and talk with their sweet honeyed words. A tail long and fluffy, good for balance but not exactly great when they want to hide, being so white has its disadvantages as well. Still, they both groom their fur everyday so its well kept, silky and shin
Personality:
If you’re part of ThunderClan then you’ve probably seen them, they look exactly alike if you don’t count the eyes and it doesn’t help that they’re always together. This pair of she-cats are practically inseparable, usually where one goes so those the other, if you see one of them apparently alone rest assured the other one is most likely nearby. When the twins walk they do it in perfect coordination, they have a deep connection that allows them to understand each other’s thoughts perfectly with just a fleeting gaze hence why they tend to share gazes and smile or to conduct a conversation without really saying much. Both are playful constantly joking around or playing innocent pranks, all of this they do without hints of malice, they just want to have fun. Icepaw and Glazepaw tend to talk in unison, to finish each other’s sentences and to complete their ideas, they know where the other is or if they’re in trouble. Some say they were meant to be one cat but were split in two.
How wrong they are.
In appearance they appear to be the same, an exact copy of each other, but if you look at them, if you really look at them as individuals then you will see how different they truly are. Glazepaw is the older twin since she was born first; she’s also the most ‘immature’ of the duo. She seems confident in her movements and is known to be the ‘leader sibling’; she’s the one that initiates most of their pranks and jokes and is known to ‘take them too far’. Unlike her sister, Glazepaw is childish and doesn’t know how to properly interact with others, she lacks real social skills and gets frustrated easily, she’s more dependent on her sister and is highly possessive of her sibling getting jealous of almost anyone that talks to Icepaw. She’s extremely dependent on Icepaw to help her manage her feelings and emotions so she lack any real emotional control and is prone to tantrums when alone with her sister, she’s very fond of her twin and considers her as her closest friend and life-long companion. She has a hard time opening up to anyone therefor she lacks any real friends besides her sibling. Glazepaw is impulsive and will take action without really thinking of the consequences, she also never really thinks about anyone nor takes their feelings into consideration leaving the ‘cleaning’ to Icepaw without being aware of it.
Just like Icepaw she really likes “The Liar Game”, in the game you have to guess who the liar is with just one question. She enjoys the second version as well but her favorite game is “Guess the Glaze”, in which you have to guess who Glazepaw is when they have their eyes closed. She likes this game because it gives her the opportunity to ‘ridicule’ the player for not guessing right, unlike Icepaw, Glazepaw thinks everyone are a bunch of idiots for not being able to tell them apart.
History:
It doesn’t make sense, they brought it to themselves, that pair of peculiar apprentices always together buried deep in their own personal world. Or maybe they didn’t? Oh, I don’t know, who am I to judge? I’ll leave the judging to you.
These pair of white she-cats are not true ThunderClan cats, not technically at least. Some could argue they were in fact raised in ThunderClan so they could be considered true part of the clan, but bottom line is there is not a single drop of clan blood running through their veins. Their mother was a loner and their father a kittypet, not a very promising line, eh? Well, the she-cat that gave birth to them left them in the small line that separates kittypet nests from wildcat territory, she thought that they would either be taken in by a no-fur and raised to be plump and carefree, or be killed or raised by the odd group of cats that made the forest their home.
It was a ThunderClan patrol who heard their mewls and caterwauls. They took them to the leader and then tossed them in the nursery where they were raised by various queens and never got attached to any. It was clear from the start the she-kits, dubbed Icekit and Glazekit, shared a deep mental and emotional bond. They completed each other’s sentences, sometimes talked in unison, one could even see them mimicking each other’s movements perfectly… but there was one thing you could be sure of, they were absolutely always together and they weren’t fond of company. Ever since they were kits there was something mischievous about them, they liked playing pranks, making a fool of the rest of their denmates… this made them the least likeable of kits but they didn’t care, they played alone and with no real mother to scold them they always got away with everything.
Before they even realized it they were alone, trapped deep in their own personal world with all doors and windows bolted shut.
So they grew up, one moon, two moons… waiting dreadfully for their sixth moon, they didn’t like it, didn’t want to be apprentices because it would mean separation. Until they were named apprentices, they managed to trick their mentors, remain together for as long as they could but not always, there are time when you can catch them alone, at their weakest and most vulnerable, it is perhaps the only situation where their windows and doors are a little open. Maybe if you catch them at their weakest you will learn to tell them apart.
