WILLOWSTORM
pictures; xx (you may have as many pictures as you want, but be reasonable)
Age: 48 moons
Gender: Tom
Rank: Deputy
Clan: Riverclan
Short Description: A Long legged pale gray tabby tom with pastel yellow eyes.
Appearance:
Willowstorm is a broad shouldered, muscular tom. His pale yellow eyes are soft and understanding. They sit in a sloping forehead and just above a pink, black rimmed nose. Atop his head, average sized ears that are tufted in white are always pricked forward and alert. Willow's neck is as muscular as his shoulders, and almost just as wide. His shoulder blades stick out just above a back tapers into slightly narrower hips and big, muscular back legs. Speaking of which, his legs are disproportionately long and end in large paws with claws that are long enough that they don't sheath completely. While this gives him more traction, it is also problematic for practice spars that he enjoys from time to time. His tail is average length, but looks a little short compared to his height. A pale gray, nearly white pelt of long hair stretches over and hides much of this intimidating tom's muscle. His body is crisscrossed with a few very dark stripes that turn into dark gray boots on all four paws and the tip of his tail. His pelt is not only long and silky, but very thick due to his Riverclan blood. The cold rarely ever effects him.
Personality:
Gentle:As intimidating as he looks, Willowstorm doesn't really fight often. He may enjoy sparring with a friend or two just to let some energy out, but the tom tries his hardest to avoid a fight if possible. He is always quick to help his clan mates that need it, and is more than willing to do the dirty jobs so that his clan can have a rest or enjoy a nice day. Willowstorm is, and has always been, good with kits and patient with apprentices who were difficult or learned slowly. It is very hard to truly anger this tom as he will always warn a cat that he is short on nerves or just having a bad day. Willowstorm loves his clan too much to fight with any cat for silly reasons.
Fair:It is because he doesn't anger easily that Willowstorm is able to be fair and objective about many things. Experience has shown him that punishing cats often doesn't work, and that there are times where you just have to let it go. He has befriended many an apprentice because of either letting them off punishment early or talking their mentor into a gentler punishment or none at all. He does, however, understand that there are times where punishment is need, and even can be severe. Willowstorm has no issue doling out to a cat what they've earned, but will not act until sure that it has in fact been earned.
Protective:Willowstorm has been described by his kits and even close friends as overly protective and it's not entirely untrue. He hates the thought of any of his clan-mates getting severly injured or attacked by predators. While he doesn't limit anyone's ability to go places beyond what the warrior code says, Willow is constantly trying to make sure that there are no threats and cam sometimes come across as paranoid when he doesn't mean to be.
History:
Kithood:Willowstorm was born to two loving parents in a litter of two kits. Aspentail and Applesong were happy to raise and care for their first two kits. Willowkit and his brother, Dark-kit were the best of friends from day one and did nearly everything together, including opening their eyes. The brothers grew only closer when a fox attacked the camp just after they turned 5 moons old and their father, Aspentail, lost both his sight and his right forepaw to the darned creature. Living a fairly happy life as kits, neither brother was particularly dark or brooding, even if Dark-kit was the more quiet of the two.
Apprenticeship:As apprentices, Willowpaw and Darkpaw began growing more independent of each other while still staying close friends. They trained and hunted together to make themselves the best they could be, and never once imagined they'd become so distant as they did when Willowpaw found a crush in a new apprentice named Featherpaw. Willow began spending more time with the younger she-cat and less with his brother, and while they still talked and played it was clear that they were drifting apart. Darkpaw didn't hold a grudge toward his brother for them drifting apart, and they stayed on good terms even until they became warriors.
Warrior Life:Sitting vigil as Willowstorm and Darknight was the most fun the two had together since Willowstorm's love fell on Featherpaw. They were quiet and watched the came, even if they played quiet games and made silent jokes to keep eachother awake until the sun rose. For some time, life almost went back to normal and the two were inseperable again. Once Featherpaw became Featherstep about two moons later, they began to drift yet again. The brothers spoke and teased, but weren't as close as before and never got that way again. Willowstorm was proud to announce his kits to the clan as he turned 20 moons and Featherstep sat in the nursery, albeit grudgingly, until the kits were born. There were four in the litter, three toms and a she-kit. Even with one very weak kit, Willowstorm couldn't stop his enthusiasm when he helped to name them. Tumblekit, Bearkit, and Smallkit were the toms' names, and Berrykit was the she-cat's name. Not long after being named, the weakest kit - tumblekit - died. It was a sad moment, but with three healthy kits to care for, Willowstorm simply thanked starclan that he didn't lose more. Not long after the birth of his kits, Willowstorm was given an apprentice in the form of a rude little she-cat named Lynxpaw. She was difficult and tried Willowstorm's patients many times, but they did eventually work through until she was a warrior. Six moons later, he was given another apprentice and found himself named deputy.
Deputyship:Having only been deputy for a short time, Willowstorm has seen one last tragedy in his life. The loss of Featherstep. She was killed during one of her walks when she got too close to the thunderpath by accident. Since then little has happened and his duties have kept Willow from becoming too depressed.
