Short Description: White and gray tom with blue eyes

Appearance:

A small, black nose heads up a triangular head on which large, round, blue eyes and large ears are situated. His long neck leads into narrow shoulders, and a shallow chest. Long fore-legs end in small paws and surprisingly short claws. Smoke's long back hits strong hind legs and similarly small paws before heading on into a half-length tail that he was born with. Stretched over his dense, lean musculature is a mostly while, short-furred pelt. A dark gray blade tops the bridge of Smoke's nose and his eyes, and ears, are encompassed by a pair of mid-gray patches that made it look as if he is wearing a mask. The gray becomes a dull rust color as the patches cover his knees and a large portion of his back. His small paws and tail are the same color as his back, while his claws are a black color similar to his nose. The tom's brilliant blue eyes are of a crystalline color that is rarely come by. He is all in all, an extremely handsome tom that is built for speed and agility, but would be crushed easily by a bigger, heavier cat if he lost his footing.

Personality:

Playful:

Any game is a good game, and even more so if it's challenging. Smokepaw loves to take challenges and make bets on just about anything he can. If it's not exciting, or challenging, it's not fun or important to this small tom, and this is exactly why he has such a short attention span. He learns quickly, so a mentor or other cat needs to move quickly to keep his attention, or it just doesn't work very well.

Flirtatious:

Even as young as he is, Smokepaw loves to flirt with the other apprentices and even younger warriors. It's more childish than anything, but his clan-mates can see that once he's older, Smokepaw will get into loads of trouble just because of a silly she-cat. Be that as it may, he's a cheesy flirt, and likes to have class while he's messing around and trying to get the girls to have crushes on him. Many cats think he simply wants attention and that's how he gets it, which isn't entirely wrong. Smokepaw loves getting attention, but he also likes making other cats feel good about themselves. The flirting does that for she-cats and the challenges he takes does that for toms

History:

Kithood:

Smokekit was born to Honeynose and Swiftstep, and is the only kit in his litter. His parents were just about ready to retire into the elders' den when Smokekit was born, and the unfortunate result was his Mother's death from the birthing. They suspected that Smokekit would have had at least one sibling had his mother been only a little stronger. Swiftstep named the little tom after his own father, Smokefoot. There was a queen who fed him, but beyond that, Smokekit's only parent was his father who was always there to teach and raise him. Swiftstep had a hard paw, but was fair enough. When Smokekit was old enough to leave the nursery and explore the camp, he began learning small things from his father, like hunting moves. The older tom was ambitious and wanted his son to grow up and become a great warrior.

Apprenticeship:

Once apprenticed, Smokepaw began showing off how quickly he could learn, and had impressed his mentor with just how good he was at hunting crouches to begin with. Unfortunatly, his speedy learning caused Smokepaw to become uninterested and bored with the lesson. This meant that he would sometimes miss something that he needed to know when it was mixed in with something that he thought he already knew about. At 7 moons, his father who had retired not long after Smokepaw's birth, died when his lungs wound up infected and the medicine cat couldn't help him. Since then, not much has happened. Smokepaw strives to be the best, but often winds up driving others away during training sessions because of his blunt need to move faster than the others. He has started trying to slow down, but can't help his learning speed and need to get it done faster.
