LIGHTPAW
she-cat ● seven moons ● thunderclan ● apprentice
white she-cat with amber eyes
A P P E A R A N C E
Lightpaw isn't a skinny, flimsy she-cat with spindle legs and pencil-thin bones. She's well-muscled and toned. She's small and compact. She gets her height from her mother. For an apprentice she's shorter than she should be - but it doesn't bother her. Lightpaw uses her size to her advantage, it's easier to slip in and out of battle when you're too small to catch.
Her pelt is one solid color, a bright luminous white. She doesn't have any imperfections or unwanted spots - her complexion is as pure as the driven snow. Unlike her siblings, Lightpaw's fur is short and thin. She doesn't inherit her father's thick fur, rather she carries her mother's sleek pelt. Her eyes are a dark, glistening amber - a marvelous array of oranges, browns, and yellows.
Lightpaw has a very pretty face. It's hard not to stare. It's round at the cheeks and pointed at the chin. She has large eyes for her face and a small, button nose. Her ears aren't very large, but they aren't small either. The she-cat has long trailing whiskers and a captivating smile. Her voice is warm and friendly - the kind that makes you want to stop and listen.

She's noble for her age. At six moons old, Lightpaw is very mature. She doesn't act out or reek havoc - she knows what's right and wrong. Her moral compass is fully functioning and she isn't short of making sure that everyone knows it. The other apprentices don her a 'goody-two shoes' - which is entirely correct. When it comes to bad decisions Lightpaw is the first to speak out. She doesn't like breaking the rules - it's stupid, pointless, and in the end you're only going to get in trouble.
Being the first born she's naturally bossy. She likes to make sure that everything's in line and things are running smoothly. Some say she got this from watching her father run the clan - others say it's just in her blood. Although she's bossy, she's a perfectly friendly cat. She doesn't shy away from conversation and likes to put others before herself. Lightpaw can see the good in people and sometimes she completely overlooks the bad. This makes her very naive.
Lightpaw's fearless. She's brave and won't hesitate to charge headfirst into battle. She wants to show her clan what she's worth. She wants to uphold her family's honor. She's usually the first to try something new - as long as it's legal - and she'll lead the pack almost instinctively. The white she-cat's a natural leader.
She finds solace in friendship. She likes making connections with her denmates. The idea of being alone frightens her. Lightpaw grew up surrounded by love and it's when she's alone does she feel the emptiest. Her mind can play cruel tricks on her and it's best to keep it at bay.

H I S T O R Y
Lightpaw is the first-born daughter of Thunderclan's dashing deputy. A proud father, Blizzardclaw couldn't be happier at the arrival of his children. Although it had been painful, Shiningheart effortlessly birthed three healthy kits. They were named Lightkit, Dark-kit, and Smokekit - two she-cats and a tom.
At a young age Lightkit had always known right from wrong. She'd watch her siblings get into trouble with a furrowed brow. Time after time she'd reprehend them for actions - and time after time they'd ignore her. Dark-kit in particular would drive her insane. She always had to start a fight - within seconds her claws would come unsheathed and all hell would break lose. Lightkit tried to avoid her sister at all costs but unfortunately they were related.
She'd try to stop the fights before they started but her bossiness always got the best of her. Dark-kit would get annoyed and Lightkit would just. give. up. She was that irritating. They'd wrestle a little too rough until Shiningheart or their brother broke it up. Smokekit was the mediator - he always tried to separate them but it never worked. The two would find a way to cross paths and clash claws.
Before she became an apprentice, Lightkit spent a lot of time with her mother. Shiningheart devoted herself entirely to her children and Lightkit watched her mother with shining eyes. She was curious to why such a strong warrior would chose to be in the nursery - her mother responded with a laugh, "Because I fell in love." Lightkit nodded, her eyes narrowed. It didn't make any sense to her but she pretended it did. She couldn't picture herself spending any time in the nursery - heck all she wanted to do was start training and get out of it - but when she saw her parents look at each other - the love in their eyes - the picture became a little clearer.
Lightkit looks up to her father. She wants be deputy just like him. Whenever he comes around to visit her eyes light up like moons. Blizzardclaw in the most important person in her life and when she became an apprentice he couldn't be prouder of his daughter. Owlstar assigned Lightningshine to be her mentor - he's an amusing tom with an infectious laugh. Lightpaw likes being around him.
At six moons old she hasn't experienced much but she hopes to be the best warrior Thunderclan has ever seen.
