Bengal she-cat with golden eyes

Dapplepaw is a she-cat that will definitely become an eye-catcher when she gets older, but she is still learning how her body works and a little too playful to ever catch the wondering eyes of tom in the camp or outside the camp for that matter. She is slender but not fragile since her legs seem to be made of pure muscle. She could run circles around warriors and never tire out for hours. Her claws are always kept sharp though she would rather hunt and track than fight. But don’t doubt her slightly peaceful nature or those claws will leave notches in your ears.
Dapplepaw is a soft golden color with black circles that dot her back that fade stripes as you reach her legs, tail and neck. This various markings help her blend into the shadows of the Thunderclan forest and provide great shelter is she happens to be hiding, either form prey or her mentor. Her eyes are a darker gold that seem to look through you but with a curious gaze then one of anger.

Like most cats her age, Dapplepaw is in that stage where she is trying to figure out where exactly she fits in. With her past of not being born in the clan, there are times she feels secluded and so she tries to find the best way to get herself noticed. Now, this usually leads her to getting in trouble, but she always means well and never intends to put the clan in danger.
Around her friends and those she is very comfortable with, Dapplepaw is very playful. She hates seeing people upset because of a fear that she will lose them due to that sadness. The loss of a good friend and denmate of hers plays a big part in that but if you ask her, she’ll try to play it off like she’s okay and just wants those around her to be happy.
Outside the clan she is a little more timid and known to hide behind the older warriors. She is more of a watcher and listener rather than diving head first into things she’s not used to. However, if someone threatens her clanmates or her clan, she is one of the first to dive into the fight. Her clan took her in and protected her when she was alone so she would never turn her back on her family.

Dapplekit was abandoned in the Thunderclan forest when she was 4 moons old. This was odd since the mother decided to wait so long, so many clan members believe that her mother knew about the clans and hoped they would find the small spotted kit. She was found hiding in a log by Owltalon (now Owlstar) and Rainflight, two warriors of Thunderclan. She didn’t know where she was from, who she was or even where she was. She immediately became attached to Rainflight, although the she-cat was known to be harsh and grumpy. In their worry that the kit would die out there alone, the two warriors brought her to the camp and she was allowed to stay and became known as their kit, although Rainflight was not her real mother.
Since she didn’t know her name the two cats called her Dapplekit for her spotted fur. She grew close to the two cats as well as another kit in the clan Ratkit. Everyone saw them as the childhood sweethearts and the two were inseparable. However one Owlstar became leader, everything around Dapplekit seemed to come apart. Her once loving and playful dad became really serious and rather snappy toward everyone. He quit playing with her and would almost scold her for goofing off too much. Although this did put her down, she still had Ratkit there to play.
However that was short lived as well. Ratkit suddenly died and Dapplekit was thrust back into the world seemingly alone. Rainflight, although she was stull assigned to the nursery until Dapplekit was an apprentice, went out as often as she could and left Dapplekit to try to find new friends and people to talk to. This led her to Blizzardclaw, the new Thunderclan deputy. He was a great warrior and Dapplekit had listened to him talk to apprentices so she knew he was smart. As time went on Dapplekit spent more and more time following him around and talking to him, and soon it was decided that when she was to become an apprentice that Blizzardclaw would mentor her training.
Finally when Dapplepaw was 6 moons old her apprentice ceremony came. On that day, Dapplepaw saw vast amounts of pride in her father’s eyes. She was one step closer to the warrior she was so excited to be. Now as she starts her apprenticeship she eagerly awaits what adventures lie ahead of her.
