Duskpaw
Age: 9 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Apprentice
Clan: Shadowclan
Short Description: Skinny black she-cat with green eyes.
Appearance:
Black. When you first see this she-cat, all you can think is 'black cat', 'bad luck'. Anything that falls into the genera of black cats, this she-cat seems to represent it. She's holds that frightfully skinny body, her coat is pitch black, not sun-bleached black, coal black.
The slender girl has a rich green gaze, her eyes are what holds the key to her personality. They're important and they help tell her apart form her siblings.
Another key thing to her appearance is the way her fur bristles when she arches her back, another black cat trait. Honestly this cat could pose for the perfect Halloween portrait.
Her muzzle is thin and well proportioned with the rest of her structure. Her ears are slightly bigger then normal, giving her a rather distinct Windclan shine. Her fur is well detailed, every hair seems to be in place. The coat itself is rather smooth, while her whiskers seem to be out of place with their snow-white appearance.
Petite, thin paws. Another trait that had been passed down from her mother. She beholds her mom's legendary claws, they're thin, hooked and ready to kill.
Basically this she-cat is a carbon copy of her mother, it's a shame nobody really notices to begin with.
Personality:
'Bad luck' seems to be the correct term for this she-cat's personality. Anything that has ever happened to the she-cat seems to fall under the category of 'bad luck'. Because of this she's lonesome, careful, quiet, and basically very unsocial.
The only cat she can talk to comfortably is her own brother, but with him on the path of evil, that's become impossible. Deep down she's a wistful, dreamy she-cat. But with her bad luck, she has become nothing other then a shell of a once happy cat.
Independent is another word this she-cat seems to own, the black cat has never needed to be dependent on anyone other then herself self. She learns everything by herself, and she chooses to train alone as well. Why would she want to wrap anyone else up into her issues?
When it comes to fighting, she's known for fighting tooth and claw. The other cat won't know what's coming until it's too late. Although she just began training it's already known to the clan that she and her brother are prodigies. Something that came with her unique twist of traits.
But the most important key feature to her personality is the visions she gets. Every once in awhile Duskpaw finds herself unable to control her body, she grows stiff, while her eyes turn a milky white. The little apprentices sees things that most would hope to never see, and because of this she lives her life in fear.
History:
Duskpaw doesn't know much about her past, she only remember the soft trickling sound of water. The cries of her mother in pain, and the gentle nudging from her siblings. That's the earliest her memories can go, anything beyond that is unknown to her.
She does know that she was raised in the mountains, her name had been Dusk that Rises to The Moon {Dusk}, and at a young age her and her brother Night That The Stars Fill {Night} joined Shadowclan. Her foster mother had been Darkrose but both her and her brother never felt any attachment to the she-cat.
Growing up she received two visions of cat's deaths and was shocked to find out that they came true. These visions happen when she simply views a cat. Overall this she-cat knows everyone's death, whether she wants to or not. With this gift she could easily use it to her advantage, but being the good-soul she is, the she-cat chooses to ignore it. Maybe some day she could learn to use powers to prevent deaths instead.
Since Nightkit was the only one who could understand her, she often found herself attached to the tom like a third arm. All of these changed when she found out who her real parents were. Nightstalker and Darkspirit, the two biggest threats to Shadowclan since Tigerstar.
Accidentally she had walked in on one of Nightkit's and Nightstalker's training session and was horrified by what they were intentions were. Since then she finds it difficult to talk to her brother without lashing out at him.
As an apprentice she vows she'll do whatever she can to convert her brother to the side of good, and hopefully one day she can stop Nightstalker for good.
