ooc:I Know Khaki might not be in camp, but for now let's pretend she is. This will be just a FUN board that won't do much with anyone's plot except for Sorrel and Crimson's ok? So Khaki is permitted in camp now for some reason. Just go along with his post xD

Crimsonclaw slyly opened his eyes. His plan was going to start now. The tom had been 'catnapping' beneath a reedy overhang. During his luxurious 'nap' he had been scouting out his victims. Khaki and Lionstrike were casually talking, or stuttering for that matter by the Elder's den. Time to make his move. Stretching he made sure to flex his muscles, hoping that some she-cat might notice him. That would make his task much easier. Upond his paws now he strode past the warrior's den.

The world hated him.

Just at that moment Sorrelstrike's multi-colored head poked out of the den. Skidding to a halt he tried his best to skirt around her unnoticed but she spotted him in seconds. Probably because he was only a few inches away from her. The she-cat seemed in the least bit interested in him. That kind of hurt. Well fine, she'll just have to watch me hit on someone else. Raising his eyebrows he gestured towards Khaki, throwing her a suggestive grin. He could just imagine her haughty voice, 'You wouldn't dare.'

Oh he'll dare alright.

Approaching the rather attractive she-cat he meowed sexily,
"I think the camp just got hotter now that your here." He flashed a toothy grin. There was just a small problem. That Lionstrike, he was going to ruin everything. With a snort he pushed the tom away,
"So you, me and the warrior's den now or later?"

Oh god this was humiliating, but he had to get Sorrelstrike jealous, this was the only way.

This better work you stupid Shadowclan runt!

Lionstrike had been having a very enjoyable conversation with Khaki. Here she was, in RiverClan. She had always wanted to be here, and now he was. Just hearing the joy in her voice sent Lionstrike's heart racing. Who knows, maybe she'll take on a warrior name too! But then The ginger tom heard a deep voice. "I think the camp just got hotter now that your here." The words came from Crimsonclaw's mouth. The warrior was so shocked that he couldn't respond. That was until Crimsonclaw shoved him out of the way, his eyes on Khaki. Oh no, this was not going to do at all. Lionstrike felt anger bubble up inside of him as the red warrior continued. "So you, me and the warrior's den now or later?"

Fuming Lionstrike shoved the senior warrior. "Wh-what do you think y-you are d-d-doing!" Never in his life had he seen Crimsonclaw act this way. It was crazy to think this serious warrior would be doing something like hitting on another she-cat. Let alone Khaki! Still recovering from shock Lionstrike glared at Crimsonclaw. This was very strange behavior for that warrior. So strange that the more Lionstrike looked at him the more Lionstrike was afraid of him. Was something wrong with Crimsonclaw? Had he hit his head on something, or ate something bad? Was he sick with something?

Sick with very poor hitting skills, that was one thing Lionstrike knew for sure. He was so blunt and forceful, was he actually trying to win Khaki's heart? Lionstrike heard a voice in his head laugh. Khaki would be furious with Crimsonclaw he bet! Heck, Lionstrike was furious with him! Why? Well, Lionstrike had no idea, but if Crimsonclaw wanted Khaki, he had to go through this stuttering tom first!

Sorrelstrike strained her eyes when she awakened, bright light streaming from the warriors den. The sun was at just the right angle, and told her that it was after sun-high. Crap! I didn't mean to sleep that late! The warrior couldn't sleep for days because of her mind whirling with thoughts of Crimsonclaw. Hatred, confusion, and every other emotion in between. This was the first time she actually got some good sleep. All her schedule was contained the dawn patrol, and sleeping. That was it.

Yawning in satisfaction, she stretched her body until the stiffness in her muscles melted away. Giving herself a cleaning, she got ready for the rest of the day ahead. Now what to do for the rest of the day? She missed the sun-high patrol, and the dusk patrol was way ahead of time. She had no apprentice to be torturing, no one to talk to, and she had no lust to go outside of camp, no matter what the cause was. These were the times Sorrelstrike wished she was an apprentice again. Back then, she had no troubles, and was always busy with something. It was so exciting.

But now what? Now she was a young warrior with a love-sickness that she will never heal, an enemy who she can never talk to, and a friend who is always busy. Her licks got more rushed and hard. Nothing was as good as it used to be. She even had her siblings when she was younger. She thought being a warrior would be greater, but is it? No! Frustrated after her train of thought, she stalked out of the den, hoping to distract herself.

But the distraction was something completely random. She couldn't even come up with something so abnormal. In front of her stood her ex. mentor, Crimsonclaw. Not to mention ex. friend. But it wasn't the simple ignore and walk past business, it was something totally the opposite. With slitted eyes, the she-cat watched as Crimsonclaw walked over to a newcomer in camp, actually hitting on her. What the hell...?

"I'd like to know the answer to that too," Sorrelstrike meowed matter-of-factly, coming up to the trio. "Why is the senior warrior acting so immaturely to one of our guests?" What a hog! He never did this before! Especially one someone not even apart of their Clan! What was he thinking? But...why did she care? Why did she act so furiously about it? If Crimsonclaw wanted to get in trouble, fine! Why did it affect her so badly?

Crimsonclaw raised his brows at the stuttering tom, "Stealing your she-cat friend, what does it look like?" With another lop-sided grin he launched another pick up line, "Your gorgeous, practically the she-cat of my dreams. " This was humiliating. In fact it was worse than humiliating. He was bending everything backwards, just to get Sorrelstrike's attention. He wasn't a babe-magnet, nor a player. In fact he was a uptight grumpy tom who was seriously lacking a fun personality. And now he was hitting on a she-cat he hardly knew. Quickly he cast Sorrelstrike a glance. She seemed pissed but not jealous.

Unless being pissed meant being jealous. Mouse-dung! He had completely forgotten to ask Hawkstreak what a she-cat acts like when they're jealous. Clenching his teeth he did his best not to hurt someone. Oh great! I don't even know what do even if she was jealous!?! This was so stupid, why did he have to listen to that Shadowclan runt in the first place! Crimsonclaw decided to just wing in, he'd have to use a different tactic to figure out if the she-cat was jealous or not.

Giving Sorrelstrike a smirk he meowed casually, "What, jealous?" And that was it. He didn't even wait long enough for a response, he gave her the good 'ole cold shoulder and continued talking to Khaki. He threw random after random pick up line. He didn't even wait for Khaki to respond. It was so unnatural; so screwed up.

"Hello, I'm a thief, and I'm here to steal your heart" Okay, so that last one was pretty pathetic but it was all he could think of. Why couldn't have Hawkstreak given him some material to work with! He was the love expert not him. Trying to cover up that last one he quickly added,

"Did it hurt when you fell from Starclan?"

Khaki smiled at lionstrike and brought a brown paw over hear small ears. She couldn't believe she was actually living in the camp now. It was everything she had ever dreamed of. to counted as a part of this strong group of cats. She looked at Lionstrike and laughed as he made a funny comment. He was everything she had hoped for.

"I think the camp just got hotter now that your here."

Khaki had be licking down a few tuffs on her chest and she stopped thinking Lionstrike had said that. But that voice. it wasn't his. She looked up and saw the red tom shove lionstrike out of the way and give her a toothy grin. She just blinked at him stunned. He was talking to her? who in the world was this tom? She couldn't place a name.

"So you, me and the warrior's den now or later?"

Khaki stared at the tom with disbelief and she heard the words came out of his mouth. Was he being serious? Why in the world would he...she saw a figure move over as lionstike started hissing at the other tom. It was a she-cat and Crimsonclaw seemed to get more bolder as she came closer. It suddenly hit her. She knew what was going on now.

"Your gorgeous, practically the she-cat of my dreams. "

Okay that was probably a total lie. She could tell by the look in his eyes. However it was kind of funny. She let a smile slip on her lips. She knew what she had to do now. She just hoped Lionstrike wouldn't get too mad at her.

"Hello, I'm a thief, and I'm here to steal your heart"

Okay that one had been really bad. did he really think that one would have worked on any cat? However Khaki let out a small mew of laughter. Not a loud one, and she ducked her head a little. She wasn't stupid...this tom would learn his lesson one way or another.

"Did it hurt when you fell from Starclan?"

That one was better but khaki had caught on. Now it was her time to play. She purred and walked by lionstrike, gently running her tail across his side. She looked at him and gave him a look that said "Trust me."
"you could learn a few things form this tom Lionstrike."

[/color] she purred and looked at Crimsonclaw, a look of slight adoration filling her eyes. She walked closer, moving slowly and smoothly, never taking a wrong step. She moved around him and ran her tail over his shoulder.
"Actually the fall wasn't that bad. i got to set my eyes on something better than the forests of starclan."[/color] she purred and moved back in front of him. She gave him a small teasing smile.
If he wanted to play games...she would play. Oh she would play alright.[/center]

"J-Jealous!?"

Sorrelstrike's eyes flashed, her leaf-green eyes tinted with ember flames of anger. Rage bubbled up inside of her. The stupid tom just kept on going with his foolish acts, ignoring her words as if it were some troublesome wasp. Of course she wasn't jealous! She was pissed more than anything! Why would he think such a thing? She'd been jealous of a mouse more than that big old lump of fur!

His lines were pathetic. Even his gestures, use of tone, everything. Crimsonclaw obviously didn't know how to flirt. But that didn't chear the tortoiseshell one bit. He was actually trying to flirt! With a loner! How low can you get? But it didn't seem pathetic and fruitless to Khaki's eyes, for she was taking the bait. What a mouse-brained sucker!

Not only that, but the she-cat was...flirting with Crimsonclaw in return! Ohhh, this made her more pissed than Crimsonclaw. But why? Wouldn't her anger be on Crimsonclaw? He started it. Why would she be angry at Khaki? All she was doing was playing along. But she didn't have to! Sorrelstrike growled. She didn't know why, but a protective instinct arose, as if protecting a close Clanmate in battle. But stronger.

"Oh you little fox-breathed kittypet! You're gonna get it! Don't flirt with him!" Sorrelstrike growled fiercely, crouching down with her fur ruffled up twice its size. Suddenly, she pounced onto the she-cat, toppling her over and pinning her to the ground. Inches away from her muzzle she hissed, "If you ever speak another word to him again, I'll do more than just kit games with you."

That confidence dripped-dropped out of him. Crimsonclaw found himself trembling at Khaki's light touch. WHAT THE FUC- His mind had derailed the track. "Er-And what's that?" he meowed in response to her teasing gestures. He could feel the heat rising to his cheeks. He hadn't really had expected his pick up lines to work; literally they were horrible. Instead he expected Khaki to slap him across the face and take her leave. The way her body trailed around him; her tail sliding across his shoulder. Everything made him shiver; because this unknown feeling was rising within him. It was different from how he felt about Sorrelstrike; but yet all the same. Though one thing was for sure; it wasn't love. Khaki's seductive purr left him quivering; he wanted to run. This was a bad idea, stupid Shadowclan runt.

Then the unthinkable happened.

While Crimsonclaw was transfixed on Khaki's shimmering gaze; that haughty purr; her touch, a certain she-cat decided she had enough. Stumbling backwards he watched as his former apprentice bowled over a full-grown warrior. Eyes wide he desperately tried to intervene but something stopped him. The sudden realization that they were fighting over him. Unconsciously a smirk spread across his face, "Nice." he murmured. Two she-cats; both attractive were fighting tooth and claw just to talk to him. The whole concept was mind reeling; and Great Starclan, just plain awesome!

Nudging Lionstrike with his shoulder he raised his brows, "Jealous?"

Khaki's look of 'trust me', one he had seen many times, did little to comfort him. Every second he saw her 'play along' with Crimsonclaw's 'game', the more angry he got. Any second he was going to boil over and that crimson warrior was going to get bit by a lion.

When Sorrelstrike struck, Lionstrike's fur rose on end. Oh it wasn't a game any more, no matter what Khaki's look had said. The orange tom had to let out his anger; and the nearest cat was Crimsonclaw.

The older warrior's next word only made it worse.

Lionstrike turned and hissed at Crimsonclaw. His anger bubbled over, all traces of his usual stutter gone. "Jealous! More like angry, you mouse-brained, stupid, wimpy, grumpy, warrior!" with a hiss Lionstrike struck out at Crimsonclaw, scratching his face with his claws. "If you like stupid Sorrelstrike, then flirt with her you stupid tom!" at that Lionstrike turned and lifted Khaki off of the ground, leading her away from the other two warriors.

Let Crimsonclaw try that with Sorrelstrike!

Khaki licked her paw and brought it over her ear slowly never taking her eyes away form the crimson warrior. He was surprised. He hadn't expected her to react that way. Personally, neither did she. She didn't like the tom at all. He was rude and inconsiderate. He really didn't care about her. And she knew someone who would. But this would teach this tom a lesson.
What she didn't expect was the she-cat he was trying to mess with to attack her. Soon she felt herself being throw to the side and the weight of another warrior on top of her. She et out a startled yowl and looked up to see Sorrelstrike growling at her. What the crap?! Was she really upset about all this?! two seconds ago she had been upset at Crimsonclaw for flirting with khaki! Now the tables had turned.
"Fox breathed kitty-pet?!"

[/color] she yowled anger filling her. "I am not some pampered kitty-pet!"[/color]
She heaved the younger cat off of her and felt her fur rise. She bared her teeth in a growl but soon the soft ginger fur of lionstrike was pulling her away from the two clan cats. Her eyes narrowed but she turned and followed her beloved. Now that she thought about it, she wasn't sure she wanted to come live here.[/center]

Sorrelstrike stared.

Just...stood there. Staring. The anger faded away into an expression of amazement. Shock. She didn't even react with the two walked away. Nor did she react to the loner pushing her off. Nor did she chase after them in rage. She didn't even yell at Crimsonclaw. She just silently entered a faze, unaware of her surroundings. Deep in her thoughts.

Sorrelstrike was processing Lionstrike's words in her mind, calculating their meaning. Finding truth. Finding lies. Wondering if it was just a silly threat. Those words: "If you like stupid Sorrelstrike, then flirt with her you stupid tom!" It echoed in her head, every time the faint calls of the comment in reach of the ears inside her head she would get more confused and lust for answers.

Crimsonclaw likes me?

The tortoiseshell warrior never thought those words would conclude in her thoughts. For some reason, a spark of happiness gave life inside her heart. But why? Thoughts of the negative filled her mind, blocking out all wonders of if the warrior actually did like her. Of course he doesn't like her! He flirted with another cat! He hates her! He used to be her mentor, for StarClan's sake! What gave Lionstrike the idea of Crimsonclaw actually liking her?

But either way the question popped out of her mouth, her restless curiosity just begging to be cured. Turning to Crimsonclaw she questioned in almost a furious manner due to her negative energy, "You like me?"

If you do, you're a pervert! I'm too young and smart for you! So deal with it!

With those thoughts, she casted away any thoughts of excitement or happiness. And those small, quiet words that whispered in her mind in desperate hope,

Please like me...

Crimsonclaw stood in shock; nothing registered in his mind, except for Lionstrike's sauntering words. How did he see right through him? Was he really that bad at hiding it? The tom lifted his chin, trying to find the courage to speak. Instead an awkward silence rifted between them, as Lionstrike hauled Khaki off with him. Crimsonclaw flattened his ears against his head, he tried to say something, instead a deep blush rippled across his face. Why couldn't this be easier? Sorrelstrike was much too young, he was a senior warrior! She was just an apprentice a couple moons ago. But as he hesitantly caught her gaze he knew there would never be anyone else. Which was why he froze once more at her almost dangerous question. Crimsonclaw ducked his head in sheer embarrassment. There was absolutely no escaping it now. It was impossible for him to flee ; that would only make him a coward. But confessing in such terms was another whole set of problems. Clearing his throat the crimson colored tom tried to sound in the least bit manly, but his response came out a mere squeak, "Yes." His eyes immediately closed shut; he expected so many words of anger. He expected a bombardment of cusses, and reasons to as why it just couldn't; wouldn't work out. But instead a silence occurred. His eyes flickered open once more; the embarrassment withered away. Instead this haughty determination filled his chest. "Yes." he meowed stronger. "I like you, a lot. Really, I do like you." His voice grew stronger by the second, "I didn't mean it to happen, but it did. I know your younger, so much younger. But-" he paused trying to find the right words, "-You believed in me when no one else did. I just..." he stopped, gulped back any doubts, "I just fell in love with you." Sorrelstrike felt herself stop breathing. For a moment that seems like moons, she fell into a phase. The tortoiseshell felt dizzy and sick, her heart pounding a thousand times a second. Her face felt as if flames sparked on her cheeks. Sweat dampened her pelt. Her green eyes flew wide. She stood still and rigid. She couldn't breathe properly. She just stood there, staring at Crimsonclaw, just like that. As if time did not exist. As if the world around her disappeared. As if Crimsonclaw was the only one left in this world. Her anger and disgust was whipped away clean in a single swipe of words. It was as if Crimsonclaw was the medicine cat that healed away any negative energy and hurt from her heart. As if he had the precious herbs to make her feel completely alive again. Like she wasn't alone anymore. As if she never experienced her loved ones slowly disappear. It was as if he was with her all this time. And that she wasn't without anyone all her life. And it was true. But...why did the outcome have to turn out like this? Why did they have to fall in love? Just because they cured each others' sicknesses? Couldn't they be just close friends? Sorrelstrike did not plan to fall in love this early in her life. She had a long warriorship to experience. But it was too late to regret it. She had fallen in love. And to her dismay, the tom loved her back. Yet...she didn't regret it. Those words echoed in Sorrelstrike's head. The word "love" was something she lusted Crimsonclaw to say. She didn't care anymore if he was her ex mentor. She didn't care about the age difference. She didn't care would other cats would think. She didn't care if he flirted with another cat. She didn't care...all she cared about was this one tom. The tom she never would have guessed she would end up with. A smile curled her lips, remembering the times she hated him. Like when she got Crimsonclaw assigned as a mentor and how disappointed she was. When she challenged him to smile. When she saw him laugh. They were all good memories, and all signs of how their bond strengthened. A small giggle bubbled from Sorrelstrike's throat. Then a laugh. A bright smile. She couldn't help it. She was too happy. It was so sudden, yet so satisfying to hear Crimsonclaw admit to something so heart-felt. So...unCrimsonclaw like. But that wasn't what got her smiling. It was the happiness that she felt when thinking of Crimsonclaw actually loving her. She had never felt so much warmth. Maybe love wasn't too bad. "Crimsonclaw..." Sorrelstrike meowed hoarsely, looking downward, making her attempt to force tears back obvious. Once she had complete control she looked up, her bright green eyes staring happily at his and a grin plastered across her face. "I was right, wasn't I? You did love me." Padding up to him with the same cocky grin on her face she pressed her muzzle against his, licking his cheek. "Well...I guess I'll give you credit too...I love you too." Her last four words ended up being a nervous croak, her grin turning into a shaky and weak smile. "I really, really like you too." [bg=d1df86][atrb=border,0,true]

Crimsonclaw stood, hoping for the worst. He watched her freeze; he expected anything. It ranged from her leaping into his arms, and they'd run away together. Or it fell low, down into the least wanted possible outcome. That she'd hate him. It was a horrible thought; but was there truth in it? Sorrelstrike was so young, maybe she wasn't ready for love. Maybe she'd resent him for trapping her in such a difficult situation. Maybe he should have just let it be. He was too old, she was too young. He was serious, grumpy; and she was lively, cheerful. It just wasn't meant to be. The time ticked ever so slowly. Crimsonclaw found himself growing antsy, his claws dug in and out of the soft earth. He glanced nervously away; afraid to face the truth. When she still didn't say anything he brought it upon himself, "I'm sorr-" She giggled, sputtered and laughed. He felt hurt. Was this funny to her? That he spilled out his heart and she'd only mock him. The crimson-colored tom felt that all to familiar anger bubble up inside. Ears flat against his head he muttered, "What's so funny?" On the outside he was smoldering, but on the inside. Oh great starclan, it hurt. She seemed to ignore his question; and the laughter died away. Instead she looked nervous, she spoke his name. Eyes narrowed he lifted his head, "What?" And then she was moving closer, he could see the happiness in her gaze. Sorrelstrike's words were drowned out by her beauty. She had aged so much since she was an apprentice. Those stubby paws sprouted into long, slender legs. Her round kitten face grew narrow and defined. Her same green eyes were still the same. He was glad they hadn't changed. She wasn't as short as she used to be either. The crown of her head was only at the tip of his chin. And then she was touching him. Brushing her cheek against his. It felt so right. Crimsonclaw gulped back his worries; he offered a deep purr instead. "I-I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship." he murmured quietly. That was the last thing he had wanted. Fighting, teasing, it was what their whole relationship was built upon. Just because they both confessed their feeling...well that didn't mean they had to give everything up. And now they that they fessed up. What would that lead to, kits? Crimsonclaw found himself blushing at the idea. The whole concept made him feel awkward. He hoped she wouldn't notice his change int attitude. The last thing he wanted was her pestering him about it. Pulling away he smiled slightly, as if trying to cover his embarrassment. Instead he asked an all too familiar question. "What now?" The sunlight poured down onto his spine; the heat felt nice. Clutching the ground with his claws he arched his back, flexing the muscles that rippled along side it. Blinking a few times, he fought back the usual yawn that came after a good stretch. He didn't want to make it seem like he was bored. "Do we go back to our old ways or..." his voice trailed off. Obviously he was embarrassed. What were they supposed to do? Act as a couple? And what would that exactly permit them to doing? Walking around camp, all moony-eyed; tail entwined? He couldn't possibly think of doing that. "Or...well you know..." Crimsonclaw tried coming up with an appropriate word but none came to mind, "...Well other stuff." Was all he could manage. [bg=FFFFFF][atrb=border,0,true]

Sorrelstrike felt weird. She felt an explosion of happiness, as well as an awkward feeling. She never did think about this too deeply, did she? Yet, she never thought too deeply about loving him, either. It was just straight up "No way" every time her thoughts would dare enter that unfamiliar place. She was rather scared of it. She felt too young for such a feeling. Such a life. Especially with Crimsonclaw. This was the only time she had ever thought deeply about it. Rather late and delayed, eh? It was too late to turn back now, anyway. So why think about it? Overtime, she would feel like it was an every day thing. But, it would take some time. She was so used to calling him "ex mentor" or "grump" it would be awkward for the first time to actually mention him as her "lover". It would be worth it though. She could just imagine it. Showing off how she managed to be close to Crimsonclaw and while all the other she-cats failed. Show off the fact that she was with a tom who was handsome inside and out, instead of his interior shattering any attraction to him whatsoever. When the she-cats see them together and how great he can be, they'll be so jealous! How dare they give up on him! Yet...why wasn't she one of those she-cats? Sorrelstrike used to be. She hated him even when she barely knew him. But maybe it was a determination to seek a greater self from Crimsonclaw. Maybe all that time she wanted to enjoy her apprenticeship. Or maybe all that time she wanted to change a poor soul. 'Till this day she didn't know why she was dedicated to him, but she was anyway. And how or why she fell in love with him will be more of a mystery. Maybe it was because of his true personality she fell in love with. Or maybe...who knows. But Sorrelstrike had a feeling it would all become clear one day. Maybe she was too young to understand love, and once that day comes she'll understand everything. Sorrelstrike caught the crimson warrior's embarrassment from the corner of her eye. He looked kinda cute. But never in her life would she admit that to herself. Maybe. What amused her more was that he was just as clueless as she was when it came to love and what to do. "Silly Crimsonclaw. What's the point of being in love if you just act like we're friends?" Nudging him playfully she continued, "but don't worry, I'll never give up on impressing you or out-beating you. That's just my charm." The tortoiseshell warrior felt a rush of lust for him. Taking a step back, she couldn't help but admire how lucky she was. Crimsonclaw, the tom that caught every she-cat's breath from just the mere sight of him. His large, muscular body. His leaf green gaze. His gleaming crimson pelt. Even she was wrapped up in his handsome figure. But she wasn't going to act all dreamy because of it. Besides, she didn't need to.
