Some days I wish I could escape

Badgerstripe took a deep breath in. In and out, in and out. She was outside of camp, not wanting to make anyone worried for her sake, she didn't need that now. Pawing the ground she looked up into the sky. 'StarClan, please give me the words I need' The trees swayed in the wind and they matched Badgerstripe's feelings at the moment. The air was crisp and cool but the sun was out, 'poor Nightflare, she thought. Such a nice day and I'm accusing him of...' She took one step forward and drew her paw back. How could she accuse her mate of doing something without knowing what that something was?

Badgerstripe looked around once again, she needed to say something to him, otherwise if she didn't he might never be the same. "Okay" She said to herself "Time to get moving." As she entered the camp she looked around, 'Now where would he be?" Swinging her head side to side she spotted her clan-mates, all sitting around or chatting, no one had any inkling of what was going on inside the she-cat's brain. She sat down on her haunches and thought about what she was going to say to her beloved mate. All she knew was that he was very...secretive lately. He was always rushing out to leave and he came back smelling differently. She didn't know what he was doing or why. Standing up she knew the time to talk was now, otherwise her mate might be lost forever.

She looked around the camp for his black pelt. "Aha! There he is!" Padding up to her mate she spoke softly, "Nightflare, we need to talk." She looked him straight in the eyes and she waited for his answer.

A small sigh escaped the mouth of a very frusterated tom, as he laid stretched out in the sun at the far corner of the camp. His eyes laid half open scanning the clearing around him. He needed to get his mind straightened out before it's was late. The black tom snort, Wait it was to late.

Two she-cat's just had to walk into his life. Not just his love life, but his life in general. Badgerstripe had always been there for him since he was a kit, at the time he didn't think she would be no more than just a very good friend. Then when they became apprentices every changed, she wasn't the kit that he had thought was his best friend. No she became a beautiful loving she-cat that he could trust with his life and couldn't stand not being at her side. He wanted to be by her side every second of the day.

Then when they became mates, she had their kits. Jaykit, Dawnkit, Riverkit, and Moonkit his four beautiful kits, but also the kits that he never wanted. In general Nightflare never wanted to be a father, but now with his mistakes he was a father to two different she-cat's both that he deeply love.

Nightflare moan as his head started to hurt from all of the thinking, and regrets. He didn't know where his heart truly laid, of course he loved Badgerstripe, but he also loved Fox Trot the other beautiful she-cat that came into his life. Also the other she-cat that to had his kits.

'Why? Why did I make such a stupid mistake?' Nightflares eyes closed all the way as his head felt like it was going to explode any moment from all the regrets and mistakes that he had made in his young life. So far.

Another sighed escaped the tom as he stretched out his back legs when a soft voice brought him back into reality. His pale yellow eyes shot open to look at his mate staring at him with almost like pleading at him. Nightflare dipped his head,
" Is there something bothering you?' Nightflare asked gently slowly lifting himself from the warm ground to look at the she-cat at eye level.
