Her cheeks burned; they were aflame. She bit her bottom lip; grinned; coughed. "Oh Great Starclan!" she hissed. Kestrelpaw didn't know what was wrong with her. Everything was messed up. Another grin bubbled inside her throat. A giggle. She couldn't stop thinking about him. She laid sprawled out in her nest. Fortunately everyone was already awake and gone. Yet here she was rolling around like an idiot because of this blasted tom. Before the...incident she had completely and utterly hated him. Now she couldn't stop herself from smiling when imaging his lean, attractive body. "I got to stop this, I'm acting like a moron." she growled to herself. For a few seconds she scrunched her face into this determined, angry mumbled mess. Two seconds later she burst out giggling, her cheeks burning. "But he's so cute and adorable." she cooed.
KESTRELPAW
Let's Start A Riot!, A Riot!
After the...incident they had awkwardly, embarrassingly padded back to camp. It was silent. Then here they were sun-rises later and still they haven't spoken. Kestrelpaw was affirmative that she couldn't possibly show her face again. Because that would lead to him seeing her; then conversation; then extreme awkwardness.
So the plan was to keep it cool in the apprentice's den for the rest of her life. Great strategy. As she was about to through another bought of giggles and cheek-burning her stomach gurgled and grumbled beneath her. Brows furrowed she shot her belly a glance, "Shut up! Your not getting food." she growled to herself. But her stomach protested, sending more and more angry burst of grumbles. Ok, ok I'll quickly dart out, grab food, come back.
Easier said than done.
Reeling onto her paws she shot off, her extra-furry tail streaming behind her. Within seconds she had collided with another cat. Upon impact her eyes had snapped shut, as most eyes do. But her nose still worked; unfortunately. Her body trembled, she was afraid to look up. Afraid to see his green eyes stare down at her.
Why did it have to get so awkward?
"Hey Silentpaw." she meowed nervously. Gulping she slid back a few paces; allowed her blush to take place, then shyly smiled. "How have you been?"
