LAURELHEART
male (they/them/theirs) ● 35 ● shadow ● warrior
a white tom with amber eyes
A P P E A R A N C E
the first thing cats note about laurelheart is that they're big. tall, burly; a cat with a strong build. they are stocky, whether it be their thick, fluffy fur or just them being heavyset, laurelheart is definitly not the most petite cat around. their fur is pure white and neatly kept. they spend a lot of time tending to the knots that arise in their fur. honestly, they can't stand the feeling of a messy pelt. they have large paws, heavy and full of force. their legs are thick and stocky, full of muscle and power. laurelheart has a large, fluffy tail. they try their best to keep it clean and out of the dirt, but y'know. it's hard maintaining all that fur! they have a few battle scars here and there, the most noticable ones being on their shoulders and on their underbelly. they're relatively small, nothing too big; just scars that have never really faded away and have permanately marked his pelt. their whiskers are long and feathery. laurelheart has big, bold and striking amber eyes on their rounded soft face. their small delicate pink nose is the only thing about laurelheart that would be considered dantiy.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
outspoken | compassionate | confident | heavy handed
laurelheart is very outspoken. they will always speak whats on their mind to any cat whos around. willing to chat any cats ear off, laurelheart is full of passion and spirit; enthusiastic about their views. they are not afraid to oppose views, always up for a debate. however, laurelheart is very hard to persuade away from what they believe in. laurelheart is definitly heavy on one side of the scale, and it would take a lot to change that. they firmly believe in what they think is right, and would rarely ever change that.
laurelheart is also very compassionate. moved by others, laurelheart is always there to try and lend a paw in need. because of their over-willingness to help other cats, laurelheart can often be described as nosy and interfering, often poking their nose in places they don't belong. in their own clan, in other clans, honestly the whole forest is their oyster. except it's not actually a oyster because that would be really weird and also a really big oyster. they try their best to be helpful, but honestly their interfering probably just brings unneeded attention to the situation and makes it worse.

lilyfur, mother
pikethroat, father
littlestep, brother
palewhisker, sister
born to lilyfur and pikethroat during the spring, laurelkit grew up with two other sibilings; littlekit and palekit. the trio got along well, laurelkit and palekit were the ones to wrestle and cause mischief while littlekit stayed put by his mothers side. like kits do, they caused trouble everywhere they went, eager for the day when they would become apprentices.
given birchclaw as a mentor once they aged six moons, laurelpaw couldn't have been more excited to finally begin training to become a warrior, and with his sibilings nonetheless! the three had been practically glued to the hips, inseperable. littlepaw especially tended to cling to his littermates, still hesitant and wary. during laurelpaws training, they weren't particularly bad at anything, besides hunting. being patient was never a strong suit of theirs. they enjoyed fighting, exploring, activities they could ramble during and move. they were good at fighting- always being the bigger of the litter came in handy during combat. armed with powerful blows, laurelpaw felt powerful and useful.
when it came time for the littermates to become warriors, laurelheart couldn't have been more proud of their kin. palepaw became palewhisker, for her keen hunting abilities, something laurelheart always admired. littlepaw became littlestep, for being light on his paws, stealthy and quiet.
it was not long after the three became warriors that a border argument got out of hand, and a battle broke out. it was laurelheart, littlestep and another warrior against five thunderclan warriors. the odds were not in shadowclans favor that day, and despite laurelhearts best efforts to protect their brother, littlestep fell to a senior thunderclan warrior. laurelheart hasn't been the same since that day, and they still hold a slight grudge against thunderclan.
