February Activity Check + Important Update

I know it's been awhile since we've been REALLY active, and I'd like to apologize. My winter break was busier than I'd expected and honestly, my muse kind of went down the toilet, but it's back! it's new! it's fresh! it's great! I'm young, single, and ready to mingle! (ie. i'm ready to roleplay...ok) This whole v5 shit really threw me for tailspin, so I apologize for taking as long as did to code the sucker. But I think bth looks pretty now -pets affectionately- If there's anything that looks wonky or weird, PLEASE let me know. I won't be offended. I want bth to look as beautiful as possible. Anyways, onto the important stuff-

New Updates

So, I'm guessing everyone has noticed that bth looks different...yeaaaaah. That was fun. So, v5 isn't terribly different from v4. It's still a forum, we can still roleplay, make posts, and goof around - no big deal. But there are some things that have changed. First off our posting tables were fucking slayed. I haven't looked into them that much but I plan on sitting down and seeing what I can come up with. Bandit has been one hell of a team player and has offered to try her hand at fixing them. Hopefully between the two of us we can figure something out (: Oh! And if you've used a scrolling template then you're in luck! Those seem fixable...everyone else? Not yet /cries

I've installed a pretty new mini-profile that allows you to have a big pretty avatar and then your baby little one. To use the new one just go to your profile> edit profile > personal > and then way down at the bottom it'll say hover image: just enter the url and bam! You're looking pretty (: If you don't feel like making your own just send me a message and I'll make one for you! They literally take me a minute or two and I kind of really like making them

What else? Oh! Personal messages now act like conversations, which is exciting for someone like me. Seriously, Rainy and I have had so many messages it's not even funny. It's...I think I have 20+ pages of messages and about 75% are from the dingus. We just love discussing and plotting about bth that much.

Otherwise everything is basically the same. I'm sure a lot of you have roleplayed before on a v5 forum so this is probably redundant - but it's new for me! I'll keep everyone posted on the template issue, so make sure to check out the announcements every now and then.

Plot

Due to the events of the last gathering everyone should be a little shaken up. A cat dropped dead for no apparent reason (that's a little creepy), and it shouldn't be brushed off. I want characters to talk about it, come up with rumors, RELIVE IT; I don't want them to forget what happened. We can say a half-moon has passed since the events at the gathering.(once each clan finishes up their in camp meeting) And on top of that - the weather is shit. It's extremely cold, cold enough to where the leaders/medicine cats don't want to sleep alone. The temperatures are down below zero (think the midwest right now in America lmao) and there's been some heavy snow. The prey has simply vanished, and what's left is unsuitable. Riverclan is doing better than everyone else, there are a few running currents where fish is available and their camp is simply warmer than everyone else. They typically have more fat on their bones anyway. Windclan is suffering terribly from the cold, they don't have any shelter up on the moors and can barely scrape by. Shadowclan is becoming desperate, they've been taking roadkill back to camp and eying the rats at the carrionplace - disease is almost inevitable. Thunderclan is getting by with what they can find in the forest, but as everyone else, prey in dwindling.

At the gathering Sunstar asked each clan to meet at the next half-moon to discuss the dreams sent from Starclan. We will hold this meeting March 1st, 2014. I will give more information once activity is up.

Please roleplay accordingly, trust me it'll be worth it (:
