It all looks different and I'm scard!

I just got on to check if any thing was happening and...well if its happening to you to then you know what I mean. Anyone know what's happening here.
(If you don't see any thing different its probably just my computer being stupide again its been doing that a lot lately and if that's the case sorry for the waste of time)

I think it could be a update on the pro-boards I cant even find the chat any more... this could be annoying. If anyone finds out were chat is please tell me thank you.
( Also My table doesn't work any more and it makes me sad )

-pats Llama and Dream comfortingly- There there, we knew the V5 update would happen eventually. It's not that difficult to understand, if you're willing to take the time and learn it. I can help; I've been using v5 for a while.

Edit: The reason the chat isn't there anymore is because the change completely wiped codes, including the c-box. Wish, as head admin, can enable a shoutbox. It's automatic too, and every v5 site has it as an option. I think.

It jsut startled me and i miss the beautiful tables Wishy made. =( The picks i had for my template still work and i use soemthing very similar on another website so maybe i'll be okay. -sniffles- Thanks for your comfort Shiny. It really helped.

When you figure out how to properly code tables, teach the rest of us. I'm trying to teach myself, but it's a pain in the arse. XD

I just popped in to check on stuff and eeeeeep. Well, at least v5 is auto responsive/mobile, so no need to continue fiddling with media queries on my part. Lemme know if you need help with anything Wishers.

@llama, Dreamer, and anyone else whose tables have broken because of the new code policies, let me know if you need help. It seems like a simple transition from BBcode to HTML. I haven't had the chance to inspect any posts with any level of detail, but I can set aside some time this week after work to poke around.

If you could that would be so great bandit I'm mentally handy capped when it comes to tables and coding mine was one that my friend made me a while back and I have used ever since. Anyway before I ramble to much if you could fix it bandit I would be really grateful but I'm really in no hurry if you need to do something else I only use it because it I think it looks nice.

I was wrong about it converting to HTML. BBCode is still used, though I don't think the atbr tag works anymore.

If anyone else needs table help I'm here at your service. xD Just be aware it might take me a couple days to get around to it if I get busy at work. Tuesday and Wednesday of this week are going to be pretty rough for me. I have a project sprint wrapping up on Friday and all the code has to be checked in by Wednesday night for the QA testers. Cue scrambling. @_@

This is as close as I could get it, Wish.

Nerdy CSS explanation upcoming -- I could fix the gap that appears between the image and the table if Proboards would allow additional styling to be applied to their images, but everything I try is overwritten. A "display: block" would fix this right up (the gap appears because all images by default are display: inline, which leaves a tiny space), or "position: relative; top: -5px;" to move the table up to meet the bottom of the image. But every time I try to add these to the table or to the image, they disappear, as if those properties are not allowed. Another option would be to include the images inside the table, but then the background color bleeds over a bit (see second example). You could make the bleed over not so obvious (somewhat) with border-radius to curve the top left and right corners, but that doesn't seem to work on Proboard posts either... which is odd, because our layout tables have border-radius. Ihavenoidea.

REGARDLESS, I'm still fiddling with it... hoping I can find something that works.

EDIT: If you can add this style to the site's CSS, it will fix the first example permanently, along with all other posting tables that are structured this way, with images appearing before the table. I would add it myself, but don't appear to have Admin privileges anymore... Unless the link is located in a different place? Not seeing it in the header. Anyway, the CSS patch --

Ugh, i fucking around with it last night and I found something that kind of worked but it's a lot of work
You have to adjust the height accordingly each time you post and that's so much work. But thank you so much for trying and fiddling with it.

When I strip the site and redo the skin, I'm going to try the necessary codes that will fix our table situation. I remember in v4 I had to add a couple things that allowed for us to even have tables in the first place, so I'm guessing it's the same issue here. If I need help I'll definitely come to you
