You, Me, we have the world.

<sup>Moon padded out of the musty, cramped cave. No. Dreary and depressing, death reaped at every corner, while each cat's horror could be explained within the depths of their gaze. All of their brave faces were false, every single one of them lived a terrifying life.

And this is what they've become. Moon was different. Her life was fulfilled, she planned this since the beginning. The path created by Starclan was laid out for her from the beginning. She was just the useless fool who followed it. It was suddenly then she decided, why?

Why did she follow a life she couldn't choose for her own? Maybe once she destroyed the clans all of the survivors could grasp onto the thoughts she had claimed not to long ago. It was simple, once a cat let go of Starclan, let go of their sorrows, pain, memories. Everything was fixed.

Turning to her companion, whether it was welcomed or not she stated simply,
"What's the real reason you left Riverclan?" was all she meowed.

<sup>Crow blinked. He wasn't ready for the question, nor did he expect it. It was like it came out of nowhere. RiverClan... His mind whispered at the mention of the name, both anger and depression rising in his throat. He didn't want to think about that pitful Clan. It was enough he had a past in it. A horrible past. And yet, it was better than the past he had without that Clan.

Either way, he knew he was going to leave someday. He wasn't going to let that other voice in his mind rule him over again. Everybody hated him there, even his own kits. And now his mate. And he knew now he was never going back again. Even if his life was on the line.

Crow snorted in rage. "That Clan was useless to me. Everyone hated me, and the Clan ways don't work for me." Crow answered in a low growl. Changing the subject he decided to ask, "What are your reasons?"</sup>

Moon stared blankly ahead, did she believe his words? No. But she would answer truthfully, turning her green gaze she faced the tom. Would he acccept my decision, perhaps. Would he be enraged, most likely but it was something she was looking for. She wanted to test him, and testing him would need nothing but the truth.

"Snowstar."she meowed simply, narrowing her gaze she continued,
"Starclan showed me the future, they showed me a clan with a bold new leader. A clan without that beautiful she-cat you eloped with before you were banished."

Sitting down she grew serious, much more serious then before her intense green gaze never leaving Crow's sightless orbs.
"My destiny is to the provoke Riverfang to kill the clan-cats. Thus killing Snowstar. Starclan showed me the past and I'll follow it." pausing her voice grew dark,

"And your destiny is to help me kill her, so if you have any feelings for that she-cat drop them now. Your destiny was chosen by Starclan whether you like it or not and because of your destiny Snowstar is going to die."

<sup>Snowstar dying? Pfft. He could handle it. He wanted to kill her all along anyway. But she was a strong cat...the cat who he first cared about in his entire life...The thought of the she-cat he loved getting killed in cold-blooded murder upsetted him. It made his fur bristle and his blood boil. It made him want to sink his claws and fangs into the cat that killed her.

Crow shook his head. Why was he getting protective over her all the sudden? She was weak and mouse-brained. He couldn't let his past feelings for her get in the way. He wasn't with her now, and he would never be. Not after what she did to him. Like she would ever take him back. He had to let go.

And that was exactly what he was going to do. That loving, warm and protective life was over now. He only loved and fought for himself now. He was a rogue, and his life changed. He knew that. He had been a rogue before. He had been in the same situation before. But it wasn't as hard to let go as it had been now. Because it was his fault that he left that loving life.

But he did miss the rogue life. Shrugging it off he snapped, "Like I would still have feelings for a weak cat like her. She was so into her little romantic world she didn't even think of her Clan. And look where it got her. Now there's a mouse-brained apprentice wounded, and some of her warriors dead. Who would love that? She's better off dead."</sup>

<sup>"Good. Forgetting a weakling like her was a smart choice, Crow." she meowed coldly, sitting down she instantly wrapped her long silvery-white tail around her petite paws. Sharp claws glinted within the fur, she wasn't an idiot, the tom was clearly suffering from mixed feelings. He was just fighting them off for the time being.

But she knew what was going to happen, he was going to forget her and help take part in the noble she-cat death. It was as simple as that. Her life had been planned since the moment she took that first breath.

Tipping her head to the side she growled,
"Now that I know your true feelings, how about you help me encourage that flea-ridden leader of ours into attacking the cats we loathe most." Within seconds the she-cat dismissed her almost statue-like attire and returned to a brisk pace, her fur prickling from the light ambush of rain.

Looking back at her troubled companion she couldn't possibly believe starclan's path for the tom, they told her he was going to assist in the murder of his soul-mate. The she-cat he was destined to be with. Their paths, Snowstar's and Crow's had passed at one point. They even became one, intertwined, consumed in each others love. Now that once close bond was broken into two separate trails.

And in the end, it would cross again, but only one she-cat's life would be taken away by the tom she had once held so dear. For some odd reason, Moon didn't want that to happen. She wanted those horrid spirits to be wrong. She wanted to choose her own life, she wanted to be the Medicine Cat of Riverclan again, she wanted to be the kit her mother loved.

"Mom!" Moonkit squealed in delight, as the gray-tabby she-cat entered the comfortable, cozy nursery. "Moonkit." she smiled warmly, her pale green gaze taking in every inch of her excited daughter.

"Guess who's becoming the Medicine Cat of Riverclan today."Moonkit mewed, her own green gaze brimming with nothing but happiness. "I get to learn all of the herbs! Every single one of them!" Mystictail smiled, her eyes almost watering from the over-whelming feelings of joy.

"Oh Moonkit, I wanted nothing more for you." Moonkit slowly stopped her excited bouncing and stared up at her mother, blinking she smiled. Moon trembled her, gray and white fur shaking, what's with these memories, I'm not supposed to remember her. Not her.

"Mo-Mom?" Moonpaw whimpered her fur glimmering in the moonlight, her mother gray body shimmered with the sickening aroma of blood. "Moonpaw..." her raspy tone was too much for the apprentice to handle,
"Why can't I save you!" she screeched, her white and gray fur bristled and shook. Every muscle in Moonpaw's body seemed to ache, everything hurt, why didn't the pain stop?

"Moonpaw listen to me! You've always been my daughter, and I'll never forget that. Please just follow your heart, follow your dreams, do what's right. Make me proud." And then just like that the once courageous spirit of Mystictail was gone. Just like that.

Eyes glued shut, bristling fur, aching bones, Moon couldn't bear this terrible ache. Why--why now? Why did this all come back? A slow sigh slid it's way out of her throat, she had to be calm. Slowly her green gaze opened to angered slits, she needed to get Riverfang to listen to her.

"Sorry Mom."

<sup>Crow rolled his eyes, snorting in reply. He didn't want her to think he was weak. Actually, he didn't want to make anyone think he was weak. And he needed to prove that to the Clans also. He wasn't just some wondering starving rogue.

"Help? What, you didn't succeed?" Crow hissed in outrage, snapping his head to face Moon. "I just hope two cats could get through that thick cat's head, then." Crow growled. Then he sensed something...upsetting from Moon. He could feel her fur prickling, poking his own skin. And she was slightly trembling.

"What's gotten into you?" Crow asked, more of curiosity dripping from his voice than venom.</sup>

Moon briskly looked back at the tom, he wouldn't understand--so what the point in telling him her life story? Like he'd want to hear it in the first place. Turning back to her destination she approached the cave that held that blasted leader. She'd need to tell a few white-lies to get this she-cat to listen. Smirking she let out a short call, singling to the leader that Crow and her wanted to have a private chat.

Everyone lied. Sitting down she wrapped her feathery tail across her paws, her pale green gaze narrowed, the smirk had vanished. Singling to Crow she whispered,
"Whatever you do, just follow my lead." Perking her ears she shifted her weight so that she was perfectly straight.

The white and gray she-cat needed to look serious, she needed to get this leader to believe every word, she needed to get her revenge upon Starclan. And they deserved everything she'd give them.
