<sup>Snowstar dipped her head as she got the news from the dark tortoiseshell she-cat that stood before her.
“I will pass on the news of her death and we will sit vigil after the gathering tonight. And I’m so sorry for your lost.” She meowed sadly resting her tail gently on Fawnstep’s side.
“I must announce the gathering.” She meowed finally as the two stood in silence.

Getting up silently Snowstar padded out of her den into the rain, blinking away the rain from her eyes she yowled,
“All cats old enough to catch their own prey come join here underneath Great Rock for a clan meeting!”

She waited as her clanmates had silently made their ways into the muddy clearing, and she turned back toward her den where she had left the grieving medicine cat. She looked up at the sky and started,
“My first announcement is that Silentpool, had joined Starclan.” She choked out, but kept her head high as she continued,
“We will sit vigil with her after the clearing tonight. Which Wolfshade, Crimsonclaw, Firehawk, Lionstrike, Dawnfrost, Sunrise, and Fawnstep will be participating. We will right away.” Snowstar meowed jumping down the Great Rock and started toward the entrance of the camp.

Wolfshade heard his leader's call and quickly padded out into the opening to hear the news. When he heard of the death of Silentpool, he bowed his head in sorrow. Then he heard his name and realized he would have the chance to sit vigil with her beneath the stars. Looking up at his leader, he looked her in the eye and nodded his head in acknowledgment. This will be a night to remember...



Crystalfur made her way out into the clearing from the warrior's den and sat near the front. By the time Snowstar started speaking, every cat was out into the open, a mixture of pelts and eyes. The news of Silentpool was sad. She will still be able to sit vigil with her and say her good-byes, though, which was a good thing.
