Perfect Apprentice {Spiritpaw!}

<sup>Spiritpaw had been listening to the conversation intently as it progressed. He came forward when Hazelstar beckoned him, but the only other time he moved as to shake off some water from his pelt.

He knew something would happen. He could feel it in the air. And he was right, the cat called Fox Trot attacked. He was the first to react to it too. Snarling, he unsheathed his claws and jumped onto the back of the "Kitty-pet", digging them deep into her fur and biting down hard on her neck, tasting blood as his sharp teeth tore through her skin.</sup>

ooc: I wasn't going to respond since Spiritpaw's the one who attacked, thus being a post from me would be weird since I'm not sure how I'd be able to double team against you, without a counter attack D8 But I guess I'll post something.

Advancing forward Hazelstar found her claws instantly unsheathing, her chocolate brown fur glinting in the sunlight. The soft rain trickled down from the remaining clouds, fur bristling she dove forward her paws reaching out to trip the foolish she-cat out from underneath her paws.

Sliding underneath the she-cat's belly, she began slicing her claws upward with strong, forceful kicks. Her honey-colored gaze intensely focused on the concept of battle. And this was one this kitty-pet surely could not win.
She was up against two cats! Not to mention she was up against warriors, as well as Windclan's leader.

The pointed she-cat whirled around, her loose skin serving her well. She hissed, eyes narrowed and ears back. Despite being a kittypet she put up a good fight. Her sleek muscles under her light pelt were tense and powerful. Claws were unsheated and she bit and scratched, receiving and inflicting wounds.

Hazelstar slid out from underneath the she-cat, panting she studied the she-cat. The best thing to do was just leave the cat alone and go back to camp. Scanning the surrounding, her honey-colored gaze searched in some sort of escape. Well--not escape just a way to--She didn't want to give up, no. In fact the only thing she wanted to do was rip the she-cat's face off.

But she had to be the grown-up, the loyal leader. Noble and strong, typical leader stereotype. That's what she needed to be. So with a agitated grunt, she flicked her tail to Spiritpaw,
"Come on, let's go back to camp." Ears flat against her she slowly backed a few fox-lengths away before growling,
"But this kitty-pet should know best not to come near our camp." Without hesitation she whipped around her fur bristling in fury. If I ever see that she-cat again, I won't hold back.

<sup>Spiritpaw picked himself after being slung from the cats back. What is she talking about? Spiritpaw thought. This was the perfect time for him to get stronger so he could take over the forest.

Still, he knew it would be useless to argue with the leader. So sighing, he backed toward Hazelstar but kept two eyes on Fox Trot.

He could feel a few stinging scratches, but the thing that hurtted most was his shoulder. Spiritpaw knew it would be sore for a little while. His mind started racing with an idea. I can go visit that medicine cat, Heather-what's her name. Learn about herbs, especially deadly ones. You never know when you might need to use deadly herbs. They are deadly after all.</sup>

Fox Trot watched, a slight smile on her lips.
These cats would do, they would do just fine.
She turned and walked back to her home.

When she got back the smell of death greeted her. Slowly she stepped into the house and saw her two-leg laying on the couch. There was some sort of bad smell, that wasn't death, in the air. She coughed a little, then turned and ran. She didn't know how, but her two-leg was gone. Tears stung her face, both from the strange smell in the house and knowing that once again she was alone.
