Made, While Some Are Forgotten
FAWNSTEP
Every dream ever told, eventually comes true.
Fawnstep padded within a fox-length distance from the glittering lake, the moor grass whispered and shook amongst the breezy night air. While the stars sprinkled the sky, each on had a story to tell, but no one to listen. The moon was nothing but a sliver, more or so much like a cat's claw, it's silver lining sending pools of light to the world below.
They had chosen to take the route that would bring them past the horse-place, and across the moor. It'd be much easier be approached by one clan, other then two. Plus going through the pine forest, and a woods of oaks and birches didn't exactly please the water-grown cat.
The sparkling stream of water that flowed from the ancient pool expectantly reached their paths in a matter of minutes, all was left was to climb the rocky-teeth like ridge up to the ancient cavern and they'd be there. "Be careful the rocks are slippery." Fawnstep warned, her gaze intent on the sharp points. Slowly she hoisted herself up onto the ledge and then everything went smoothly from there.
The multi-colored she-cat was able to make her way, following the path of ancient paw prints before her. Gradually the cave came into focus, while the trickling of water beckoned her forward. Then at once she was padding into the depths of the cave and the pool was before her. Shimmering with stars and secrets.
Sitting down she flicked her tail, beckoning Wolfshade forward.
"Just bend down and touch your nose to the water. It'll be cold at first but you'll slowly drift into sleep." Bringing her gaze to the tom's face she added,
"When the ceremony is over you'll be leader and have nine lives, but you can never tell a soul what happened during the ceremony."
