Dapplepaw was about to start trembling, thinking that the clan didn't care. Why should they? She was just a kit that Owlstar and Rainflight had brought in form the woods. She had no past, she had no reason to be a clan cat. Why did they if she became an apprentice or not. Suddenly she heard the name...her new name. She stopped and looked up, her eyes resting on Shiningheart. She had started the name chant. Her new mentor's mate. She smiled some and lifted her head as the rest of the clan joined in. She would have to thank her later.

Then she heard it. A loud voice, above and louder than anyone else. She looked up eyes round at her dad, who was chanting her name a proud look in her eyes. She kept watching him and he mouthed those special words. "I'm proud of you." She smiled and just kept staring at him as he finished up the clan meeting. Maybe...just maybe her dad wasn't gone like she though. She stood as he hopped down and rested his tail on her shoulder. It was warm, and quivering with pride.

She nodded when he explained he had to borrow Blizzardshard. She wasn't surprised, and it would probably happen quite often. He was the deputy after all. She watched them walk off and join Frostbite. She quivered with excitement and stood up and quickly went to go find Rainflight. She wanted to squeal and jump around. If she found Smokepaw maybe they could jump around together and he could help her get a nest made in the apprentice den. She had so many things she wanted to do she had no idea where to start.

Mousepelt sat silently spacing off into the distance but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't get the events of the gathering out of his head so and his mind started to fester on some of his questions that he know no one could answer like who could have done something like that? Or why had done it in the first place? Getting fed up with the questions he gave a small sigh and slowly got to his feet. when he was up he suddenly felt tired and sleepy from the long day but he know he wouldn't be able to get any restful sleep after a night like this. Not knowing what else to do Mousepelt started to slowly walk around the outer area of the camp. As he walked he glanced at some of the other cats that were still out side seeing that the new apprentice at lest seemed to be happy now that the ceremony was over. It brightened Mousepelt up a bit to see at lest one cat enjoying her self as he kept on walking around the camp. However soon his mind started to wonder again and for a moment he considered going out into the forest for a quick run as he normally like to do on restless nights but then quickly shuck his head thinking it would be foolish to go out and about with out telling anyone at a time like this and just kept walking around the camp avoiding and groups of cats not wishing to get pulled into a conversation.

Frostbite watched the leader come up to her and speak. Staying quiet she didnt answer him but all she could do at this time was follow. Into the den she went and waited to talk. Staying silent for a few moments she knew they werent going to like what they were going to hear.
''I woke up in a forest. I wasn't sure what part of the forest for a while.. fog was everywhere and a crow called in the distance. Yet somehow.. I felt I was.. home. I had to be on Thunderclan territory. In the distance I saw Darkrose..I called out to him but he got up and raced away. I chased after him through honestly what looked like a dead..forest. Nothing was green everything looked dead. Running after him I finally came to halt and infront of me...'' giving a puse her eyes never left her leader. ''it was a pile....a pile of dead cats. The sent was strong and terrible and these cats Owlstar.. were cats I knew! Yet some of them I wasn't able to make out. I was about to yell for someone but then.. a rat.. a single ugly red eyed looking rat came out and started...eating and chewing and consuming the bodys of the dead cats. Then another rat came out.. and another and more and they all started attacking this pile of rotting bodies and I remember I went to go take a step back and a twig snapped under my paw and thousands of tiny red eyes just looked right at me heads turned and all. Blood dripping down their mouths I turned and ran. I felt like I wasnt running fast enough and soon one rat jumped on me..then another and they all brought me down.. I remember see Darkrose sitting a few fox lengths away just watching this happen.. about to cry out for help the rats were all over me and before I knew it I fell into complete darkness and..I woke up.'' Finally blinking, her focus went back and everything was clear again. Frostbite spoke with a strong voice but in a way you could tell a dream like this made her uneasy. ''Happy now?''
