Short Description: A fluffy rusty-colored she-cat with dazzling green eyes

Appearance:

A square head, thick, muscular neck, and braud, deep chest make up the front of Redwhisker's well built body. Her legs are long, with proportionatly large paws and her tail is as long as her entire body. Her muscules show through a tightly wrapped, long haired rust-colored pelt which is a lighter, cream color along her cheeks, underbelly, paws, and the underside of her tail. A curved, claw-like section of her cheek is the normal rusty color of the rest of her fur. The bridge of her nose is a dark rust color, as are the toes on the right paw, the underside of her back paws, and the tip of her tail. There are dots over her striking green eyes that are the same cream as are underside.
The fur on her tail, and around her neck is far thicker than the rest of her body, and her ears are proportionatly small to her head, while her eyes are fairly large and almond-shaped. Her unusually large paws have claws that stick out a little and can not be fully sheethed. To top it all off, her long whiskers curl at the ends, giving her a very strange appearence overall.

Personality:

Focused

When given a task, Redwhisker will work herself into idiocy to get it done. She hates leaving anything unfinished and tries her very hardest to not only get it done, but to get it done right. Her focus also proves positive in her willingness to learn anything she can to make herself better, but it can limit her ability to observe. Redwhisker is a good tracker who enjoys catching a scent and following it, but she only sees that scent and may ignore something more important like fox or other clans. It is a large pitfall, but she is trying to work on fixing that.

Strong-willed

Redwhisker is hard to bend or break in most ways, and this can also make her extreemly stubborn at times. Her strong will will sometimes cause her to clash with her clan-mates and even those of a higher rank than her own. Requardless, there is still some good in that this trait makes it almost impossible for someone to force her to betray her clan and makes her a stickler for the warrior code as it was the first thing she was taught. Of course, this strong will also makes her somewhat closed minded and hard to convince of some things.

Motherly

Being that her own mother was not a very good one, Redwhisker developed an inate wish and need to be supportive and kind to those who need it. The youngest apprentices and kits often get alot of her attention and she will some times wind up coddling her own friends, much to their dismay.

History:

Kithood:

Born to Shadeberry and Birchspark in a litter of 3, Redwhisker (then redkit) started life much like any other kit. Her father was a harsh tom, but he obviously loved his kits and was attentive of Redkit, Foxkit, and Hollykit, while their mother disliked kits and left them to another queen to be cared for. Their father was enamored with Redkit and Foxkit simply because they had almost the exact same markings. Because of his early infatuation, Hollykit always seemed to be the one left out and she grew to resent her brother and sister. Unwilling to accept his sister's hate, Foxkit tried to befriend her and they grew as close as he and Redkit. Tragedy struck the little family when Redkit talked Foxkit into sneaking out of camp while hollykit and their father slept. It was foolish of them, and while on their way back, a hawk attacked the two. IT almost got Redkit and left a large gash across her shoulder. She ran faster, eyes clamped shut until she barreled into her father through a hole in the nursery wall. It was only then that she realized Foxkit had not been behind her. A search party went out, but the little tom was not to be found. Redkit took the full brunt of Hollykit's rage from then on, and even Redkit's father was less attentive due to the loss.

Apprenticeship:

Redkit and Hollykit became apprentices not more than two moons later, and Hollypaw's bullying grew only more the older they got. It seemed that when ever the two trained together, Hollypaw would take every opportunity to rough Redpaw up. It went on like that for some while until they were around 10 or 11 moons old and Redpaw got fed up with it. The two could be heard screaming at eachother from the sandy hollow, and the arguement went on uninterrupted until the mentors came to break them up. Enraged further, Hollypaw ran off and never came back. After the search parties saw her pawsteps heading toward loner land, they all assumed that she had left the clan. It hurt Redpaw, but she was dont being sorry and shrugged it off so that she could live a normal life.

Warrior Life:

After earning her warrior name a moon later, Redwhisker proudly served her clan, although she did get into alot of trouble sometimes. At around 18 moons old, she found a young kit alone outside and instantly took it in, caring for the young tom, whom she named Foxkit, as if he were her own. Rusty colored like her, with far more dark markings, he reminded her of her brother, whom she still missed. She grew along side the young kit and watched him become and apprentice and then a warrior. Every time Redwhisker says her adopted son's name, pride wells into her belly and fluffs out her fur.
