You must have a completed biography, For example; Say I was applying for Thunderclan Leader, then I would turn in my Biography for Owlstar. *Write the biography as if they are a Deputy, or Medicine Cat, etc. State clearly in the biography that it is for a High Position Application, this way it does not get accepted.

You may only apply if you do not have a high position, A member may only have one high position.

You must provide a roleplaying example, This can be of anything. It could be something from your character's past, or something from the daily life of a deputy/leader/medicine cat.

You may not try out for a position that is already filled. This is self-explanatory.

This sample is of my character Tigersoul from another rp I used to play on. The thread was between Tigersoul and his crush (with whom he would later become mates with; but alas the site shut down). This character also had a badly broken fore-paw from his kithood. ANYWAYS ENJOY! <3

The sun had yet to rise when he awoke, his bright amber eyes staring straight, casting their haunted look at the ceiling, where a small hole had made it`s way through the roof of his den. His body was dam from the rain that had obviously fallen that night and with each breath he felt a shiver run through his body. It would be a pain staking day if he didn`t get up and move. But his body refused, the soft pat, pat, pat of the light down pour and with each droplet of ran against his face he grew angrier and angrier. He would remember this style for when he was needed for interrogation, like that was ever likely. Yawning, flashing his rows of ever sharp teeth, he closed his eyes for a moment.

Dreams filled with the scents of herbs, the tom was smaller then he usually was, and to his surprise all his paws worked once again. `you can do it tigerkit!` the faint shouts of a tom he no longer considered a brother, followed quickly by a, `be careful tigerkit!" the voice of a she-cat he once cared deeply for called out, and as he turned to look down at the cats calling his name, the world seemed to move in the same slow motion style it did that day. Little claws slipping from wet bark, his back arching off backwards, and his body tumbling down the mighty tree he had climbed. Limb after limb crashed into his tiny body, and at one point he manged to snag onto the tree, tiny fore-paw clenching between to sticks as he hung from the air. "tigerkit!" the combined yowls of his former brother and best friend, warlberfeather and firestorm call, just as his paw slips and the ground inches closer and closer.

He's startled awake again, by the rustling of his apprentice leaving the den. Skypaw, a she-cat who had lost her tail, and yet when he taken her on, it had been her sheer interest in the subject, plus she had asked and what would he benefit from this? Nothing, simply the satisfaction that once he died his pitiful life of being a grouchy old medicine cat, he had a pride and joy to succeed him. Bright amber eyes caught sight of the hole above his head, the sky was brighten with light, and looked like the rain would hold out for a while. This brought a tiny smile to his face, but as quick as it appeared, it disappeared into his normal frown. The rustling at the front of his den brought his attention quicker then the fact that he had not groomed, or covered the small bit of peace he had been having.

His nose flared in annoyance as he climbed from his nest, a small stumble in his paws. It had been hard, extremely hard as his muscles protested with him and the older warrior, Smokegaze, limped over to help. With a nose flaring, Tigersoul begrudgingly allowed the older warrior to help him. It was embarrassing and he hated it with every second the older tom balanced him. "Tigersoul, are you alright?" The older tom asked, and with a roll of his eyes, Tigersoul snapped his jaws and began to work on the older tom's paw. It was a simple thorn, he had been seeing a lot more of these since cats became so easily distracted by prey, and with a heavily heart he yanked the thorn from the tom's paw and set the cat on his way. "Oh and Smokegaze, thank you." He snapped.

He sat there, in the back portion of his den, looking be-wild at how his muscles seemed to compulsion. His whole body shook with annoyance at his own failing body and with a claw full of dirt, from the ground below, he rose to his paws again. His stomach was turning with hunger, and with annoyance as his eyes picked over his supplies. "Tigersoul? Skypaw? I brought a mouse." His ears perked at the sound of that voice and his form froze, the small compulsion in his tail the only sign of his acknowledgement. Of course that voice would send shivers down his spin, he knew it very well and it bothered him deeply that his insides seemed to flutter when ever that cat came.

Cloverdance. The she-cat was seemingly in the corners of his mind, he could not look at her the way he used to - with a grouchy expression and a sharp tongue. He was stuck with that star-stuck expression and would have to turn his amber eyes to anything else, get the hell out of there. It was embarrassing of course, it bothered him to no end and even sent shivers down his spin. With a swallow, the tom thought of the worst possible thing - his accident with the tree seemed just the night possible thing - and he turned around, that grumpy expression clear on his face. "Bought time, thought we'd starve in here." He snapped, though his hunger had long since vanished since the she-cat who carried the prey was one he didn't want to speak to for long.

His nose flared as he hobbled over, broken and twisted paw clenched to his chest tightly. His eyes were hard, but to the trained eye, probably his apprentice and almost likely Butterflypaw. Tail lashing behind him he waited for the she-cat to drop the prey and give it to him and get on her way. Sniffing slightly, the faint traces of blood caught his scent and his head tilted slightly, hard eyes ranking the younger she-cat's body, until it landed on her paw and his ears seemed to perk suddenly, from their relaxed position to one of curiosity. "Your paw, what did you do?" He snapped, his whiskers twitching in annoyance, how could she be so stupid. Tail thrashing behind him he waited impatiently, eyes glued on the paw instead of the cat's eyes.

He was known for staring the cat down with his eyes, the only factor of his body that had not been beaten down from moons of ware. With a harsh slap from reality, the small dark brown tabby raised hard, and cool amber eyes to stare at the younger's sky blue eyes. His amber eyes seemed to widen just the slightest, their pools of amber surrounding a slit of black that seemed to grow wider and rounder. With an annoyed look on his face, he waited for the she-cat to answer him.

The last time he'd been alone like this had been two moons ago. The negative thoughts seemed to be coming more and more often as the temperature dropped more and more. Frost had coated the forest this morning, and it wouldn't be long before the first snows of leaf-bare came. Already the hunting patrols were bringing in less and less fresh-kill, even the ones Venomwind and Shiningheart went on. Venomwind was already a phenomenal hunter, one of the best in the Clan, and Shiningheart's pure white pelt kept the prey from seeing her until the last possible second.

He himself tried to hunt at least twice a day, but his larger size made it difficult. He couldn't step as lightly as his smaller Clanmates, and it showed now as he creeped along the ShadowClan border. Grass, frozen from the cold air, crackled under his paws like lightning. He avoided brushing up against the bushes, knowing that any possible chance at prey would be lost if that happened. Blizzardshard had ordered the patrols to do double duty; hunt while patrolling and vice versa. He wouldn't put it passed any of the other Clans to launch an attack, no matter how weak the forest was.

Crack. Blizzardshard froze at the sound of a twig being stepped on and the soft curse that followed it. He sniffed the air, opening his mouth slightly to taste the wind, and his pelt instinctively bristled. ShadowClan. Just as he'd thought. The deputy creeped forward, now with a different type of prey in mind, and peered through the branches of a bush. The dark ginger pelt stood out against the crisp white and green just like Venomwind's. It was an apprentice, one he'd briefly met at another Gathering. Foxpaw, her name was. Willowflight's apprentice.

What was the ShadowClan deputy's apprentice doing out here? His instincts roared at him to chase off the offender, but Blizzardshard found himself hesitating and peering closer. Foxpaw's ribs were showing plainly through her pelt, just like his own, but she was skinnier. Falconstar had reported last Gathering that, though ShadowClan was going through the lack of prey as well, they had enough inside their own territory to still stay strong. Foxpaw didn't seem to be very strong now.

Unbidden, his mind flashed to his own children. Foxpaw was about their age, eight to nine moons old. Did Sparrowsong know her daughter was out here? What about Tigerstripe? Were Foxpaw's parents or her mentor worrying about her? Or was this an assignment? Blizzardshard watched Foxpaw's body language in interest. She was looking around warily, both on ThunderClan's side of the border and ShadowClan's side. Obviously her Clanmates didn't know she was out here. But the question was why?

The answer should have been obvious. A scuffling of snow made both him and Foxpaw freeze, and a scrawny squirrel came into the open. Blizzardshard held his breath, watching the rival apprentice watch the squirrel. The moment she dropped into a hunting crouch, he'd attack. He waited, but she didn't move. Was she hoping the squirrel would come closer to her?

His jaw almost dropped to the ground when Foxpaw gave a resigned sigh and turned away from the squirrel. She wasn't going to catch it. She wasn't even trying to catch it. Foxpaw trotted away noiselessly, obviously trying not to draw attention to herself. Blizzardshard's attention switched to the squirrel, and he acted once again on instinct by diving from his hiding place and snapping it's neck.

He looked up at the rival apprentice, tail twitching in thought. She was crossing the border, but hadn't stolen prey. Yes, she'd broken the warrior code, but not as badly as it could have been. "Greetings, Foxpaw. You seem to be on my Clan's territory. Would you care to explain why, exactly?" He unsheathed his claws, sending the silent message: "It had better be a good reason, or else!"

Okay this was from a site based off of Warriors, but used big cats instead of little house cats. Two of my old characters, Ravenpaw and Crescentpaw.

"He had been dozing softly beside the golden color pelt dappled with large darkened spots. He knew she'd been having a rough time, what with the third mentor. Adderstar was a good mentor, but sometimes he could be too abrasive and Crescentpaw knew it all to well. He sighed, half asleep but still in a waking daze. He rested his chin on her forehead and licked his friend between the ears. Her paw still showed signs of where her own teeth had been forced though her flesh. She could never handle pain or hurt well, but this was the first he'd heard of her inflicting a wound upon herself.

The black leopard tom pushed himself into a sitting position, watching her as the steady rise and fall of her chest signaled she was in a deep sleep. He couldn't help but smile down on his friend. She had been one of the first cats to come and talk to him after he arrived here in such a mangled mess.

His smile faded as he remembered that night. The medicine cat had found him outside the camp, bloodied and nearly dead. He'd been a kind leopard to him and they seemed to share so much in common. The medicine cat was one of the few cats to know his whole story; most the time he just made up something to please others. He hated his father and nearly hissed at the mention of that wretched creature. A small spark of fury flooded through him and a low growl escaped him.

Ravenpaw lied his down next to the clouded leopard's and closed his eyes again. He didn't feel like sleeping, but she needed someone next to her to keep her company. So he assumed that role for her.

As he actually started to fall back asleep, a terrified, yet commanding voice rang out in the camp. He stood straight up, leaving Crescentpaw to fall back against the spot where he was, still sleeping. Sticking his head out of the den, he watched as his clanmates ran past helping others out of den or towards the entrance. He managed to get a word out of one leopard who was pushing a kit towards the entrance; fire. Fear made his muscles go limp and he struggled to stay on his paws.

"Crescentpaw! Wake up! We have to leave, now! There's a fire! Crescentpaw! He ran and pushed his head into her chest, sliding her back a few feet. He let out a frustrated growl and started pacing.


The clouded leopard surfaced back into reality, vision blurry and her mind cloudy. She had been lost in a scary dream world, filled with sharp claws, pain and blood, lots of blood. She looked up at the pacing Ravenpaw and gave a confused look. "What's going on?" The look he gave her terrified her and she forced herself to her paws, the puncture wounds still bothering her. Her eyes widened at the single word her spoke, "Fire." She dashed out of the den, smacking into an older warrior who gave her a look of disdain. She looked away and looked behind her. Ravenpaw was standing right there.

He nudged her forward. "We have to go, now!" As they sped up, the clouded leopardess dodged in between two warriors, the black leopard tom tried to follow, but could not. He looked around him frantically but could not spot her anymore. He found Adderstar standing in the middle of camp, fur standing on end. He stopped beside him and watch the crowd move by, still not picking out her dappled pelt.

He swallowed hard as he heard the sound of flames crackling in the distance. 'Where could she be? Did she make it out already or is she hiding in a den somewhere?' A desperate growl escaped his mouth and he fought to get into some of the dens. Someone's claws caught him in the side and blood instantly welled up underneath his fur. He winced, managing to check all the dens. Still no signs of her. He looked back at the leader, hoping she had found her mentor, but she wasn't there either.

He squeezed out of camp, breath coming in ragged gasps. "CRESCENTPAW!" He screeched, and several leopards looked at him quizzically. He let his tail drag the ground as he followed after his clan, towards the river and towards Tigerclan. Oh how he dreaded those creatures."

The white she cat padded into her empty den with everything in it but.. her mentor. He had just died a moon ago but sadly Frostbite couldn't get over it.. yet. The scents of herbs filled her nose and the she cat gave a silent sigh to herself. She was not one to show emotion really. She padded to the herbs she told herself she was going to sort when out of no where, ''Frostbite! I got a thor in my paw.. or at least I think I have a thorn.. I don't know it just hurts can you look at it please?'' Frostbite closed her eyes and retained from spinning around and clawing the cats face to death. It was no other then little Rowanpaw when she turned around. Everyone knew the whinny voice of him. You could hear him complain from fourtrees if you wanted to.

Frostbite looked over her shoulder and hissed, ''Take that nest over there and I'll see if I can get it out.'' The little tom padded to the nest and waited for the medicine cat. He looked around the den while the medicine cat got her things together. Frostbite hated her job but loved it more then she hated it. The frost white cat sat down in front of the apprentice and took his paw and saw he was telling the truth. Rowanpaw started to whimper and Frostbite gave him a stern look then he stopped. Frostbite put a few herbs on his paw and ordered, ''Tell me how to hunt a mouse.'' Rowanpaw sat confused and before he could protest Frostbite hissed, ''Tell me how!'' Rowanpaw gulped and started, ''Well hunting a mouse is just like hunting anything else. You need to make sure you are down wind of the mouse first because if you aren't he can smell you and he will running off. You want to make sure you are down really low to the ground and make sure the mouse doesn't see you or hear you, and then you want to make sure you..''
''Don't put pressure on it for a little bit and your paw should be fine now get out of my den before I run you out myself.'' Frostbite interrupted the apprentice while walking to one side of her den to put the thorn away. Rowanpaw looked down at his paw and saw the thorn was out! He didn't even feel it! ''Frostbite how did you..'' ''OUT! Now!'' she screamed. Rowanpaw took no time at all and called out while running on three legs, ''Thank you Frostbite!'' The medicine cat watched him go and the medicine cat just let out a little smile on the corner of her face.

''You're really good with apprentices.'' a voice mewed from outside of the den. Frostbite rolled her eyes and really didn't wish to deal with this right now. ''What do you want.'' ''Just a little advice Frostbite no need to claw my ears off.'' Frostbite felt her body tense up and ears lay flat against her head. Before she knew it he was in her den..

It had only been a few days since Eponine had arrived at Saddle Creek, and had been trying to stay in the low until she found a place to stay. And that place to stay was usually with another dog, mostly males which she flirted with until they asked if she had any place to stay and if she wanted to stay with them. You know, the usually. Eponine would then run off in search of new surroundings when she became tired of the old ones. You could say that she was a drifter, and you would be exactly right. Usually, Eponine didn't stay in the same place for more then a few weeks, a month at most. Some places where only for a few nights for they had nothing to see or anyone that interested her. So far, Saddle Creek seemed like and interesting place, and hoped that if she found someone to stay with, she could manage to spend more time here then in the other places in which she stayed.

It was early in the morning, or maybe it was late at night... Either way, it was still dark out and Eponine had been awoken by a rather angry raccoon who had found the Dalmatian asleep at the bottom of his tree. Too tired to do anything about the raccoon, she had to move on, and since she was already awake, also not knowing if she would be able to even get back to anything remotely close to dozing. Eponine just felt as if she could get a start on her search for somewhere to stay, even though it was early in the morning and little to know one would be up, Eponine didn't really care. She just wanted to get up abs walk around, maybe try and wake herself up, abs catch herself something to eat. Even though she usually acted helpless in order to make dogs feel sorry for her and help her, Eponine really wasn't helpless. She was completely capable of doing things herself withought anyone else's help. She just didn't like it because it was a lot of work and when Eponine came across the opportunity to have others do work for her, she'll take that.

Finding herself close to what seemed like an old and rundown barn, Eponine made her way closer, maybe she could stay there for a little while. But once age got closer, the stench finally hit her nose. It smelled of rotting hay and animals which hadn't been cleaned up after in what smelt like a rather long amount of time, Eponine was simply going to avoid the barn find another potential resting place. Although as she made her way around one side of the barn, two figures where visible as the moonlight lit the world making it visible to see in the darkness of night. Both of these figures where much larger, and much more masculine then her. Standing at 17 inches, Eponine was not only small for her breed, but also most other dogs. And these to dogs, obviously males, where easily twice her weight, maybe even three times, after all, Eponine was a mere 27 pounds. Although her little weight did have something to do with the fact that she was a stray, and was skinny, although still healthy all the same.

Waiting to see what the two much larger dogs did, Eponine tried to hide herself as best she could, which really wasn't easy with her pelt in which was illuminated by the silver rays of the moon. Even with her many black spots, she was still lit up like a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Although Eponine did her best to hide her white pelt.

(Sorry it's not a warrior post. I just started roleplaying again and it's the only one I have at the moment.

( this is an example from a previous character of mine named cloverstar - leader of riverclan. the first scene takes place after winter had massacred the clans )

Wisps of mist twirled around the trees and climbed the bark. It had rained the night before, washing away the leftover tufts of stubborn snow beds. A deep wound bled from the horizon, the sky bruised and cloudy. Riverclan remained silent, their heartbeats a reflection of the sluggish river. Their scent hung limp in the air whilst the decay was heavy. There were still bodies that needed to be dragged off to the burial grounds. With the warmth came decomposition just as it came with new life, the pair went hand in hand. It was an unpleasant duty but it was a necessity.

Clovestar pushed herself up onto her paws and slunk through the entrance of her den, the lichen trailing down her back. She was thin, as the rest of her clan; tawny fur stretched over bones and odd angles. Her yellow eyes, like orbs of sunlight trapped in ice, scanned camp. Faint stores escaped the warrior and apprentice dens. If it had been any other year she would have kicked her clan into gear and forced them out on patrol. However, this year was anything but ordinary. All she had known, all the knowledge that seasoned felines carried had been blown away in a gust of wind. Their bodies were at her paws. Some of their mouths were open, twisted, gaping. Eyes, dull and milky, looked at her. A corpse of a kitten laid stiff on the edge of the nursery. Only one tom remained—a black and white patched one by the name of Fennelkit. Clovestar had instructed that he stay with the apprentices so that he would keep warm in the nights.

The tawny she-cat blinked and looked back at the pile of bodies. She wouldn’t wake her fragile clan. Instead she yanked the corpses, the shells, from their resting places. Their skin clung to the ground and ripped with each tug. Even so, Clovestar did not stop. She pulled until each corpse was free from the frost. Pieces of flesh still remained. When it thaws I’ll be sure to remove it, she thought and gripped the scruff of a corpse in her mouth. It tasted of cold. No other scents were attached with the body—like it never belonged to Riverclan in the first place.

She moved the first body without trouble. He was light for the most part as they all would be. Her clan continued to slumber, their soft mewls and movements comforting her—allowing her to do her job. While it was true, Clovestar was one of the youngest felines in camp, she was also the most equipped; no matter what everyone else thought.

There were still a few more corpses left, including the kitten. The tawny she-cat took in a breath and held it. Her eyes were closed, her chest holding in the leftover air until she finally let it go. With careful paw steps she made it over to the kitten. Seedkit, she thought, recalling the brown pelted corpse’s name. Although frozen, he appeared almost peaceful. Clovestar bent down to pick the bundle up when she heard paw steps approaching her from behind, Webfur’s scent rushing over her.

Falconstar was tired of being cooped up in camp. Sure, he'd spent plenty of time out of it not too long ago, getting hurt and what not, but the massive tom never had much liked being kept into one place. There was an adventurous part of him that couldn't stand being in one place for too long. Of course this part of him had never taken him too far away from his Clan though.

It wasn't that the rich brown tom was scared of what was outside of the Clans, he just wasn't adventurous enough to really care. The time when he was a young idiot, always getting into bad situations for the wrong kind of attention were over. Falconstar had gained responsibilities. Not only did he adopt toms into his life to be their role model and father, but he also just recently became the leader of his whole Clan. He was no longer just some trouble-making kid, he'd made a name for himself and it made him happy! The glory of being StoneClan's leader made him feel like he was about to burst with pride.

Pausing at the sound of a familiar voice, Falconstar scowled. He hadn't noticed the scent of PineClan getting stronger, too deep in his thoughts. Rushstar had luckily called to him before he'd appeared and made a fool of himself by not noticing her there. Straightening to his full height and rolling his shoulders to relieve the tension before stepping out into plain sight. His brown pelt's red under-tones grew more noticeable as the sun hit it and his golden eyes glowed, zeroing in on the other leader. The large feline's maw curled into a taunting smirk immediately.

"Hey there, Rushfur."

He wondered if her Clan had been weakened any by the rodent massacre. StoneClan had hardly been affect at all because of their feathery diet. Only a few had fallen ill, and Falconstar was confident in Ironcall's skills enough to figure they would be fine. Obviously this was no enemy like he'd assumed, just a peculiar disease.

I hope it doesn't spread to birds...

Narrowing his eyes slightly, he noted that the female looked troubled. Apparently they had suffered at least a bit. Falconstar couldn't think of anything else that would make her have that expression on her face. Now was the time he decided he'd try and rile her up, maybe help relieve some tension. He wasn't heartless. Just because Rushstar lead another Clan that rivaled his didn't mean he didn't care for the fellow feline's health. This was his way of showing he wasn't a total monstrosity.

"What's with that look, you scared of me, little kitten?"

The long-haired tom's voice rumbled with amusement. Hopefully this would lighten her up a bit and they could possibly joke. It was rare to find a cat on equal terms with Falconstar and Rushstar was as close as it had gotten in a long time.
