^{So Starclan didn't effect two-legs at all? Curious she cocked her head to the side, did that mean every animal besides cats didn't believe in Starclan as well? Wavepaw narrowed her eyes at the idea, what do they do without starclan? She decided against asking her mentor another useless question. Snowflower was bound to be more than annoyed by now. The little gray and white apprentice listen quietly as Snowflower explained bits and pieces of her past. How awful. Why did two-legs have to be so heartless? So uncaring? But another thing bugged her even more. Why did Snowflower feel that she had to prove herself to the clan? She was made deputy, surely by now they know she's an excellent warrior. "Snowflower, your the clan's deputy." she began shyly. She wasn't one for praising others; it just came so awkwardly off of your tongue. "Wolfstar wouldn't have chosen you unless you were an amazing warrior." Eyes bright she added cheerfully, "Which you are."

Wavepaw hoped the words meant something to her mentor; or at least helped her. She didn't want Snowflower to feel that way about herself. She was an amazing mentor; not to mention an exceptional warrior. Smiling she listened excitedly to the start of her mentor's story. But gradually her smile faded away into a frown. They would have to leave their home? She looked around her, Riverclan was all she knew. From the reeds to the river; from the willows to the shells. It seemed impossible that they would have to leave. Gulping she meowed quietly, "But where would we go?" As far as she knew there wasn't a clan that would take them in, so just where would they live.

As the dragged the ducks back to the camp she felt her happiness only wither more at the sight of the river. It was only a mere trickle now; not a fish present. Only caked mud, and dusty pebbles. For a few seconds she let go of the duck and measly stuck her paw into what water was left. It was warm from the sun; and little relief came from touching it. Worriedly she looked at Snowflower, "Will our new home have a river?" she tried to stay positive when thinking about leaving. She hoped for a camp that was similar to their current one. She hoped for tall reeds; a gushing river, and all the fish you could eat. She hoped that wasn't too much to hope for.}[bg=4f6170][atrb=border,0,true]
