Cloudpaw slowly sat up as fawnstep turned to go. Even a grown medicine cat like her looked slightly freaked out by this news. This meant it was bad. very bad. As he slowly looked around at the cats he noticed only one who seemed as calm as ever. Tinypaw. He had never been fond of the she-cat even as a Warrior apprentice, but if she was a Medicine cat apprentice he guessed he would have to try. But not right now. his nerves were on end and he probably couldn't deal with any stress right now.
He looked at Heatherflower and nodded to show her he was ready whenever she was. He had never seen his mentor look so scared. Ever. He slowly looked at the slowly lighting sky and sighed.
'what dangers do the clans await? Starclan, we need more answers!' he though slowly looking around. Suddenly a sound so horrible, that it was even worse than the dream, pierced the air. He lets out a startled yowl and was up on his paws fur bristling and claws unsheathed. His blue eyes looked around wildly for the source but he never could see it.
"What was that?" he asked his voice shaking as he slowly looked at his mentor, but never dropped his defensive state. Inside he was still part warrior, but only to protect his clan if he needed to. Otherwise, he was there to heal them.[/center]

Tinypaw
Sometimes the smallest storm causes the most damage

Tinypaw stood, flicking her tail, then the noise and smoke from afar startled her. Her silver ears pricked up, then flicked back against her skull. She heard the voice whisper in her ears. It was Ashfrost.

The storm is coming, chosen. You must act now.

Tinypaw nodded curtly then looked at the other medicine cats, they looked scared, like mice. They should be scared, it was the time of Starclan's wrath. But she would be protected. For she was the chosen of Starclan, the one to purge the clans. She grinned, revealing her razor sharp teeth. Then, before running as Fawnstep did, she leapt to a high rock.

"The time has come!" she mewed loudly, her eyes glowing with fanatic passion. "The storm is coming, and we must act. Starclan is angry with us, we must purge those who are not pure, those who do not believe, those who are not of clan stock... we must purge all those from our clans and become pure once again. If we do not, Starclan will continue to curse us and the clans will be destroyed." By the look on her face, and in her eyes... Tinypaw had finally gone off the deep end.

Heatherflower was shaking. The dream had put her on edge. Smoke had been rising from the forest and the river was running dry. Danger was coming to the clans but when and where and how was still a mystery. Heatherflower was returning the nod to her apprentice to return to the clan when Tinypaw did something totally unexpected just before Fawnstep left. She jumped onto a rock and called out to them. Heatherflower was mortified.

"Are you crazy, Tinypaw! StarClan is not punishing us for not being pure! I highly doubt StarClan is even in control of these things that happen to us! If they were punishing us then why in the name of StarClan would they try to help us, to warn us?"

The young she-cat could hardly believe what she had heard. Had Crystalmoon known about Tinypaw's plan? Had she encouraged it or is she just as surprised as Heatherflower was? Never in the history of the Clans did Heatherflower remember a story of a cat of the clans, let alone a medicine cat talk about purifying the Clans!

"Tinypaw, if you do that you will probably destroy the Clans! It's to late to clean our blood of kitty pet taint or cure many of the cats from non-belief in StarClan. It can't be helped that some are not fit to be a Clan cat. But even so we must try to help them. Not exile them or kill them!"

Cloudpaw stared at Tinypaw as she started yowling at them about how starclan was punishing them for wrong doing. As he sat there and listened he couldn't help the rage that boiled in him. These were the cats he hated the most, the ones that thought they were better than everyone else. Medicine cats weren't supposed to be like this but apparently Tinypaw didn't care.
As cloudpaw listened, the emotion in his eyes went from fear to rage. His fur still stood on end but only out of frustration at this cat. How could she saw stuff like this?!
"Tinypaw, you can't just kill the ones that were not clan born! some of the best warriors weren't clan born! What about Firestar and Cloudtail! They were some of the best warrior ever to walk on this territory! Suneyes, Deputy of windclan! She could be one too! There are many you would have to get rid of and none of them would be willing to give up their life so easily." he snarled at the other apprentice. Even when he sat there looking at her, he realized he fit her description of what she wanted to get rid of. He wasn't clan born. But he had more faith than this mangy, poor excuse of a apprentice.
"Medicine cats are supposed to help the clans, not kill or destroy them. You swore to that when you became an apprentice. And if you can hold up to that promise, you're not even worthy to be a clan cat!" he hissed and sheathed his claws. When he glanced at Heatehrflower he knew he had said enough. He slowly relaxed himself but not much and padded past his mentor without saying a word. As he padded up the rocks to the top, he looked down at the paw prints left there before him.
'how can there be so much trouble and problems right now in the clans. Starclan, why can't we have more answers?' he thought looking at the sky but the stars were already disappearing. He sighed and kept going feeling more relaxed as he hit the moor of his home land.
'I belong. And no ones is going to take this from me.'[/center]
