Grounded for Life [Midnight, open]

Hearing paw steps approaching her she looked up and saw Foxpaw and a smell came to her nose and she couldn't help but make a face. He offered her to go wash his paws with him and Skypaw sat and really thought about this one. She was grounded from leaving the camp but no one was really around to see her leave. The calico green eyed apprentice gave a smile and mewed, ''I would love to come with you foxpaw!'' Getting up and passing him to exit the camp the she cat turned around and asked, ''What is that terrible smell? It smells like something died then came back to life then died again.'' Wrinkling her nose she shook her head and looked at skypaw almost not really wanting to know what that smell was. ''Is that smell on your paws? Is that why you need to go wash them? That's disgusting!'' she mewed giving a little purr.

The calico she cat followed the tom out of the camp and saw they finally came to the river. It was pretty in leafbare. When it wanted to be. Watching the tom go down to the water and seeing his body react to the cold water Skypaw stayed where she was and waited for him to come back so they could head back. truth was she really didn't want to head back. She was finally out of camp and now was the time to enjoy it. She looked around at the trees being bare and leaves falling an shivered at the cold wind that blew past her. Foxpaw now seemed to be taking forever. Giving a purr she mewed, ''Foxpaw does it always take you a moon to wash your paws?'' Getting up she padded over to the tom and then felt him splash her with water and saw his face with his tongue hanging out. Giving a smile she mewed, ''I would get that tongue in or else I'll bite it off.'' She splashed him back and asked, ''Now you wanna have that strong playful attitude where was it back at the barn?'' Sitting down next to the tom she fell silent and started thinking about the rouge. Crank was her name. How Hawkstreak had to come save them and Tawnystripe was not impressed at all with what they did. ''You know I had everything under control. She wasn't gonna touch us.'' she mewed keeping her eyes on the water in front of her.

Skypaw made eye contact with the tom but broke it and looked away into the river. It was bugging her to death as to why the tom, Hawkstreak, was told to stay behind. She got a bad feeling in her stomach when it came to those two cats.. to be honest she didn't know anything about crank. Why did no one tell her to watch out for her? She looked at foxpaw and asked, ''Did anyone tell you about Crank? I don't remember anyone brining up her name ever.. like she just appeared and even Tawnystripe knew her name.. how come we weren't warned about her? Do you find that a little weird?'' Skypaw looked away again and felt this now eating at her. Was the clan trying to hide her?
