A Storm is Brewing [Medicine Cats]

Frostbite sat and waited with the shadowclan medicine cat. Hearing a movement and then a voice Frostbite let her green eyes glow to the direction of.. Fawnstep. Blinking she narrowed her eyes to see...cloudstep was not with her. Odd. Didn't Fawnstep pass Windclan on her way here and met up with him and walk here? It was a gathering for the medicine cats it was unheard of if one was to skip a meeting. Did cloudstep know something they didn't so he didn't attend? Blinking from the Riverclan to the shadowclan medicine cat Frostbite really was not a talker. She did her own thing and really wanted to get this over with. Yet on her way here she felt a bit off. Yet of course she was not going to tell the other medicine cats unless they brought it up. Even if they did she still probably would not say anything. She didn't show emotion but today all day in fact she was feeling off. Something was not right and it made Frostbite uneasy.
''Good Evening" Fawnstep mewed Frostbite just made eye contact and gave the Riverclan cat a nod. She looked at Thistlespot and asked, ''Is it going to be just us three tonight?''

"Cloudstep....come on....get up..." The young tom paused in the middle of his stalking his ears perked. Why was there a voice telling him to get up? of course he was up. He was out hunting for his clan. He flicked his ear in irritation. Some cats were just stupid. But then he heard it again. This time a growl. He turned started and his eyes widened as he saw a badger charge at him.

Frostbite rolled her eyes and really was just about to get up and leave when before she knew it Fawnstep opened her mouth and out came the question that made frostbite almost stop breathing. So it wasn't just her. Thistlespot had to feel it to! Fawnstep even felt it or else she wouldn't of brought it up. Almost losing her whole focus and getting down to Fawnsteps level she was about to open her mouth and a glimmer of caring in her eyes came and quickly went when a voice spooked her to along with Fawnstep. ''Great Starclan Cloudstep warn someone before you just come into the circle like that Dear starclan has your mother taught you manners? Mousedung..'' At this point the she cat was almost panting. Did Cloudstep feel it also? He was so young and well.. not very experienced in this cats eyes. Shaking off what happened she gave a light growl and mewed, ''Great now that we are all out of our beds and now here can we get this started please. Fawnsteps feelings uneasy and I feel she has no reason to.''

Cloudstep shrunk slightly at Frostbites harsh words. At least she had been named correctly. He sighed softly. He knew the she-cat had a bit of a temper, but he hadn't meant to be late. Maybe it was just the mood in the air. The tense feeling. He padded beside Thistlespot and listened as the she-cats conversed about this darkness that seemed to surround them. Thistlespot looked nervous and Fawnstep seemed unsure. Frostbite tried to play it off as nothing was wrong. Cloudstep knew better. "Maybe something is coming," he murmured softly looking at the she-cat, "but we jsut have to hope that our ancestors will do what they can to help us. Our clans are strong. Whatever it is, we'll be ready." Cloustep gave the she-cats a small smile. He wasn't sure if it was him wanting everything to be fine, or he felt as if he should be the brave one here since he was the only tom. honestly he was probably just trying to convince himself. He hadn't heard Heatherflower or his mom in his dreams recently. Then that was the voice that woke him up. He didn't recognize it. Maybe it had been another passed clan mate. He pushed the though from his head as they reached the mouth of the dark cave. "Ladies first," he mewed smiling some at the she-cats. Cloudstep had always tried to be a nice tom, especially to eh she-cat that had helped finish training him once Heatherflower had passed away. [bg=a3b0b4]

Leading the way the white medicine cat could hear the others talking. She could not help but roll her eyes. Yes she felt uneasy but let it go now great starclan. Before she knew it the opening of the huge cave was before her and she waited for the others to catch up. Blinking at the dark opening Frostbite turned towards Cloudstep who told them ''ladies first''.
Fawnstep lead the way and Frostbite looked at cloudstep and hissed, ''Oh just come on doesn't matter who goes first.'' Following the riverclan cat frostbite felt tense. More then she should be feeling in fact. Finally seeing the pool in front of her the medicine cat stopped in front of it and waited for the other medicine cats to take their places. Something did not feel right at all. When they all got into place Frostbite was the first to go down.. and down..and out.

-----Opening her eyes the white she cat woke up... in...a forest. A forest that was completely dead. Getting up on all fours she heard a crow all in the distance and everything around here was a medium fog surrounding everything. Frostbite hated this. You wanted to see fear.. Frostbite was looking it right in the eye. Yet she got the sense.. she was home. Was this... her land? Thunderclan. A black cat was off in the distance that Frostbite could point out. It was Darkrose. Her former mentor who died leaving Thunderclan in her paws. Chasing after her mentor he got up and raced away. She picked up the pace and ran through the dead forest and following around a tree she stopped dead in her tracks and all of this cats wall just fell to the ground. What she saw was something that was not beautiful. It was a huge pile of dead bodies.. not just any dead bodies.. it was cats she knew! Others.. she couldn't point out. Frostbite almost threw up the sent was so strong. Breathing heavily she gave a huge gulp and felt tears sing the back of her eyes. About to call out for anyone a rat..a single rat come out from behind the pile and started eat....chewing...one of the dead bodies. Frostbite blinked and still just stood. Then... another came...and another and more and more soon there had to be 50 rats all over this huge pile of dead cat bodies. Backing up she stepped on a twig and it made one rat half the size of her with red blood eyes with black blood dripping from its mouth look right at her. Run.. her mentors voice whispered through the trees. In a flash Frostbite started running and before she knew it a huge clan of rats chased after her growling and biting at her ankles and paws. A rat then jumped onto her back and bit her in the back bringing her down. Frostbite tried to get it off but before she could she was drowning in rats all over her. Seeing a little part of the forest she was able to see Darkrose just sit and watch her be consumed by all of these rats. Crying out for Help Frostbite then saw complete darkness...----

And before she knew it she woke up startled and gasping for breath and coughing like she had never coughed before. Gasping for air she sat up and tried to calm herself down. WAs she the first one up? Apparently. The others were still sleeping. Getting her breathing back to normal she looked on her back and saw nothing was there. What in the name of starclan...was shown to her. Getting up she exited the cave to get fresh air and waited for other medicine cats to come join her when ready.

The white tom slowly followed the she-cat and stopped looking at the shining moonstone. He smiled some and moved over laying down and getting comfortable. He slowly moved forward and touched his nose to the cool stone. He closed his eyes and slowly relaxed as darkness took over him. When he awake the darkness never let up. He paused and looked around trying to see anything around him but nothing came into view. he swallowed then stopped as the Marigold fields appeared into view. however something was off. Although he could see the yellow of the marigold but everything was still dark. He called out but nothing came from his throat. However, he could hear something. He turned and looked around. The chanting finally became clear however there was no around. He swallowed and quickly started looking around. His blue eyes widened as the chanting got louder and louder. He tried to call out for help but nothing would escape. Suddenly cats appeared. He quickly looked around and recognized pelts. Calicoes, browns, and other mixes of cats he had once known, but every time he tried to look at their faces they would get distorted and fuzzy. He swallowed and shrunk as they god closer. Each face suddenly became clearer but they were torn beyond recognition. His eyes widen as his eyes fell on Heatherflower and Hazelstar. But something else was wrong. They were grinning bearing their teeth at him, chuckling. They looked like they wanted to kill him. His eyes widen as suddenly the cats lunged at him and smothered him in darkness... Cloudstep quickly opened his eyes but didn't move, fearing the dream wasn't over. He quickly look around and noticed the other cats were awake. He slowly sat up and licked his paw trying to calm himself. He slow walked out into the main part of the cave. "Wow..." he murmured softly more to himself than anyone else. [bg=a3b0b4]

Frostbite sat outside her body basically frozen. What.. who...why that dream? What could it all mean? She really didn't care about the others dreams. She will choose not to share her dream with the other medicine cats. She doesn't need help to figure out something like this.. but yet.. maybe she did. Now.. to share this with her leader.. that was another story. Frostbite was not one to keep things from her leader even if it had to deal with her clan and it did. She was on Thunderclan territory.. but those bodies.. and the rats. Shaking her head she knew this dream was going to stay with her for a while. Until she could fire all of this out. Yet.. did the other medicine cats see what she saw? Then it hit her.. that uneasy feeling.. that she had all day yet told no one about.. it was for this. It had to be because now.. that she sat outside the mothermouth she felt.. normal. Like everything was okay. Blinking to see if any of the other medicine cats were going to come out Frostbite sat and thought about what this could all mean.
