^{Foxpaw turned in his moss bedding. He got back safe from the barn. Yesterday was the last, of his half moon punishment. His paws ached from finding fresh moss, for the bedding. He can still remember the fowl taste of mouse bile. Helping him get get rid of ticks. Slowly opening his eyes, the low sun blinded him. forcing him to blink before slowly opening them again. Opening his mouth he let out a massive yawn. He looked over at Skypaw, he didn't regret going to the barn with Skypaw. If anything he was glad, he made a friend. His first one in the clan other then his brother and sister. He got to his paws and walked out the den. He blue eyes looked around, he got told to go to old Sycamore. This where his training would take place.

He slipped out of camp and walked through the overgrown forest. He followed the path that had been made after many cat had walked the same way. On arrival he found a soft place to sit down. On the his hind hunches he waited for his mentor. He curled his tail round his front paws and waited for his mentor.

Foxpaw on sight of his mentor opened his mouth for greeting, but swiftly closed it seeing that Tawnystripe was skipping greetings. The small apprentice blinked in shock a few times at her words, battle training? She's so big compared to me I wont be able to leave a dent! he thought to him self. But he took a deep breath and nodded, "o-ok, just a simple a attack" he told him self.

He backs up a little, he had to attack her. His blue eyes widened in some what fear as he scanned for a place to attack. His sky blue eyes found his way to his mentors back. An easy pounce, on the back and bite the back of her neck. He never thought his eyes would give away his plans.

But sure enough he dropped into a crouch, he took a deep breath to calm him self. He shifted his weight from paw to paw to get comfortable in the crouch. Before tensing up and using his back paws to spring him flying towards his mentor. His eyes were still transfixed on her back and he was making a be-line right for it.

The slight fear that Foxpaw held in his eyes amused Tawnystripe. She knew she was scary looking; she was almost twice Foxpaw's size, and she took almost a terrifying delight in shedding her enemy's blood during battles. She would be worried if he wasn't afraid of her, even just a little. But that fear didn't hold him back. He took a deep breath and that fear settled down into grim determination, something Tawnystripe actually had to admire a little about him.

He backed away to give them a bit of room. Mentally, Tawnystripe rolled her eyes. In a real battle, his enemy wouldn’t give him time to come up with a plan. She’d be patient for now, but once he got bigger and closer to being a warrior, she wouldn’t be so nice. Foxpaw’s eyes tracked where his thoughts were going and finally landed on her back.

It was so predictable that Tawnystripe snorted just as he sprung into the air. She waited until he got to the height of his arch before she dropped and rolled on her back. When Foxpaw descended, he was met with all four of her paws. Tawnystripe grabbed him with her front paws and thrust her hind ones into his stomach and sent him over her head.

She was back on her paws before he even landed. ”Too predictable. Try again.” she meowed briskly.

It's been a long time comin'
But the table's turned around!
Cause one of us is goin',
one of us is goin' down!

Foxpaw soared through the air and a pretty fast pace for his little body. But not fast enough, as his mentor just dropped out of his reach. But he was not out of hers, she caught him with her front paws. When he looked into Tawnystripes eyes, he knew by that point he had failed. Her paws trusted up into his soft underbelly, winding the poor tom. Flying through the air, he twisted his body before just landing on his paws. He stumbled a bit, before turning around to face his mentor. He learnt from his time at the barn to not turn his back on an enemy.

~~”Too predictable. Try again.”~~ she meowed briskly. His mentor was right, it was a kittens attack. But he looked around "Right" he meowed back quietly. He slowly started to circle her, maybe if I hid where I'm coming from... he thought to him self. He looked her up and down. But my eyes gave it away last time... and going for her back didn't work. Quickly he turned on him self, going the opposite way to the way he was going.

ahh her back leg! the little ginger apprentice thought to him self. From he left side, he used his back paws to push him self forward once again. Once again he was soaring through the air, but the time much lower. His eyes were fixed on her back leg.
